I'll back the 76ers at 47%, as I price Philadelphia closer to a 54% favorite against the Pistons. Joel Embiid was load-managed in their previous meeting and couldn't exploit the undersized Paul Reed in the post. With Embiid available and Jalen Duren sidelined again, Philadelphia has a significant matchup advantage.
Jaylen Brown o5.5 Total Rebounds (-105)
With so many new faces on the floor for the 76ers, it’s taking time for this lineup to find their roles. Guard Jaylen Brown is taking it upon himself to improve Philadelphia’s rebounding, which hasn’t been great out of the blocks. Brown has snatched 10 and 11 rebounds in two of his last three games, upping his average to almost seven boards per night on 13.0 rebounding chances per game. There will be plenty of rebounding opportunities against Detroit on Wednesday, given these two teams rank Top 3 in opponent field goal percentage. The Pistons are also missing top rebounder Jalen Duren under the basket. Brown’s player projections flirt with seven boards on Wednesday.

OKC center Isaiah Hartenstein is playing a bigger role with Chet Holmgren missing time with knee pain. The 7-footer hauled down 14 rebounds in Monday’s matchup with the Cavaliers and has reeled in at least a dozen boards in four of his last five games. Hartenstein is seeing 17.0 rebounding chances per game on the season with that number jumping to 19.3 the past four games with Holmgren out of action. Projections for Wednesday have Hartenstein posting as many as 11 boards.

I'm hitting the button on the Rockets at 72%, as I price Houston closer to a 77% favorite. Few teams have a point-of-attack defender capable of matching LaMelo Ball's size, speed, and athleticism, but Houston does. Amen Thompson has all the physical tools to make life difficult for Ball and disrupt Minnesota's offense.

Irving's status should have little to no bearing on whether or not Flagg can achieve an Over on a prop of 5.5 assists.
The sophomore phenom is averaging 6.6 in five games with the superstar point guard. In his lone start without him on Monday, Flagg had six dimes on eight potential assists.
Flagg has become a player who commands respect from defenders due to his offensive intangibles, and the Spurs will surely look to force someone else on Dallas to beat them. That means trying to get the rock out of Flagg's hands, whether it's through immense pressure or double teams. Passing out of those situations means generating assist opportunities, which is why I love this play.
Dylan Harper o15.5 Points Scored (-115)
I'll be taking this number up to 17.5 points.
Sacramento's backcourt (Zach LaVine, Malik Monk, and Darius Acuff Jr.) combined to score 72 points on 55% shooting on Monday.
Nearly two-thirds of Dylan Harper's minutes have come in the Spurs' frontcourt this season, but he's a natural two-guard who's only playing out of position so he can be a part of the starting lineup.
The 20-year-old floor general has gone Over 15.5 points in all but two games. He's averaging 21 points on 55.6% from the field in his last two appearances, and would have finished with more than the 17 points he recorded against the Utah Jazz on Monday had he played more minutes in what ended up being a blowout.

Betting the moneyline in the NBA means you're picking the winner of the game, no strings attached. If the team you bet on emerges victorious, then so do you.

In this example, the Los Angeles Lakers are the favorites to win the game as their moneyline odds have a minus sign (-) in front of the number. The favorites will have the minus sign present, and the underdogs will have a plus sign (+).
Betting $100 on the Lakers would pay you $180, your original $100 bet, plus $80 in winnings. If you bet $100 on the Warriors, since oddsmakers believe they're less likely to win this game, the payout would be $250, with a profit of $150.
Betting the spread in the NBA provides more wiggle room to bettors for games that may appear one-sided on paper. Rather than simply picking the winner like you would with the moneyline, you can instead pick the point differential to give underdogs more of a fighting chance with your wagers.

In this example, the Lakers are favored to not only win the game against the Warriors, but to do so by at least 4.5 points. As a gentle reminder, the minus sign (-) determines the favorite for the game in question.
Should the Lakers win by five points, that would mean Los Angeles "covered the spread," resulting in a win for those who bet in their favor. However, if the Lakers won by four points, that would mean the Warriors "covered the spread" instead.
The -110 betting line enclosed in parentheses is fairly common for spread bets. That is the number bettors would follow to determine potential gains and losses, just like the moneyline. Odds are usually equal on both sides of the line, but can range from -105 to -120 (or more) in either direction.
An Over/Under bet in the NBA has nothing to do with which team wins the game. Instead, all that matters is the total combined score for that game and whether it exceeds a preset number established by oddsmakers.

In this example, oddsmakers have set the total score for the Lakers and Warriors at 240.5 points.
As a bettor, you can select the Over if you believe the two teams will combine to score more than 240.5 points, 241 or more, or bet the Under if they'll score fewer than 240.5 points, 240 or fewer.
If the set number was a whole number like 240 points, for example, and the two teams combined to score exactly that amount, then the result would be a push and you'd get your money back on the wager.
