With the Serie A title essentially wrapped up, high-flying Napoli turn their attention to the Champions League on Tuesday for a showdown with a dangerous Eintracht Frankfurt team.

Napoli’s ruthless league form has put them 15 points clear, and they stayed hot with a 2-0 victory over Sassuolo on Friday. Luciano Spalletti’s men were just as clinical in the Champions League group stage, winning their first five games to cruise through to the last 16.

Eintracht Frankfurt took a far tougher path to the knockout rounds, requiring a second-half comeback away to Sporting in their final game to grab second place in Group D. Their Bundesliga form has picked up after a slow start, and they landed a 2-0 win over Werder Bremen at the weekend.

The Victor Osimhen breakout tour is in full swing, with the Nigerian firing Napoli towards a first Serie A title in 33 years. With 18 league goals, he has been a key difference maker and a big reason that Spalletti’s men enter late February having won 20 of their 23 games in Serie A, losing just once.

Put simply, he can’t stop scoring. Osimhen has netted in each of his last seven games, including doubles against Spezia and Juventus. He was on target again on Friday against Sassuolo — and, though he limped off in the final minutes, he is still on course to start on Tuesday.

Of course, it’s not just Osimhen’s deadly finishing that makes him a leading option for the “anytime scorer” prop — it’s equally about the quality creators around him. Napoli can lean on a string of talented playmakers, led by Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Hirving Lozano, and Piotr Zielinski, and Osimhen has shown an instinct for being in the right place at the right time this season.

And yet, Osimhen hasn’t taken the Champions League by storm…yet. While Napoli blasted their way through Group A, finding the net 20 times, he had a limited role due to a hamstring injury and has just a single European goal to his name this season.

That’s not going to dissuade me, though. If anything, it should just make Osimhen more locked in on proving he can be a match-winner in this competition. I like these odds for the in-form striker to find a way past the hosts’ defense on Tuesday.

It’s worth repeating Napoli have lost just twice in all competitions this season (and one of those was a meaningless game against Liverpool at the end of the group stage). The visitors are rolling — they’ve won seven straight in Serie A and are favorites for this first leg despite being on the road. Plus, there’s plenty of squad depth to turn the tide when Spalletti chooses to bring in fresh legs.

But Eintracht Frankfurt — last year’s Europa League winners — shouldn’t be underestimated. They had the discipline and composure to grind out a 1-1 draw away to Bayern Munich in late January and had been unbeaten in the Bundesliga since the end of October before losing to Cologne earlier this month.

The hosts had a mixed group stage in Europe — with a 3-0 loss to Sporting, a 0-0 draw with Tottenham, and a 2-1 win over Marseille. At their best, Oliver Glasner’s squad are capable of making a mockery of their underdog tag here.

This Napoli side is a dark horse contender to go all the way in the Champions League in part because of their free-scoring attack. The visitors have scored two or more goals in each of their last eight games. Don’t expect them to park the bus and settle for a first-leg stalemate.

I’ve already covered the quality that Osimhen provides for Napoli in the final third — and Randal Kolo Muani offers much of the same threat for Eintracht Frankfurt. He’s netted seven times in his last eight games in the Bundesliga, and he'll test Amir Rrahmani and Kim Min-Jae at the heart of the Napoli defense.

While I’m counting on scoring chances at Deutsche Bank Park, a goal fest feels like a stretch, especially with both teams settling into the two-legged tie. So I like the value of BTTS here more than, say, picking the Over on 2.5 total goals.
