We are unlikely to have a famous FA Cup upset this Sunday as Premier League leaders Arsenal welcome League One club Wigan to the Emirates.
Wigan have been struggling lately, and come into this with Glenn Whelan and Graham Barrow as interim managers, which is why my Arsenal vs. Wigan predictions expect the energetic Gabriel Jesus to outscore the League One club.

Arsenal vs Wigan picks and predictions
My Arsenal vs Wigan best bet: Gabriel Jesus to outscore the opposition (+115 at Sports Interaction)
Arsenal’s Gabriel Jesus has carved out a role after missing the first four months of the season, and adds something to the team’s attack with his movement. He’s scored four goals this season, despite starting just five games. In the Premier League, he’s averaging a team-high 4.48 shots per 90 minutes played.
Wigan have allowed 12.2 shots per game, and an average of 3.5 on target, in League One this season. Meanwhile, they’ve scored just twice in their past four games, while giving up 11 in that timeframe, so expect Jesus to outscore them.

Arsenal vs Wigan same-game parlay (SGP)
Gabriel Jesus has averaged 2.88 shots on target per 90 minutes in the league, more than anybody else on Arsenal’s roster.
Wigan are tied for the third-lowest scoring team in League One, while Arsenal have kept 21 clean sheets across all competitions.
At league level, Wigan have committed 11.2 fouls per game, and the step up in the quality of the opposition should see that number increase, as will the likelihood of cards being shown.
