James Eastham backs Chelsea to make home advantage count against Tottenham, with the Blues' attacking form pointing toward a high-scoring London derby.

Saturday's clash between two bitter London rivals has all the makings of the Premier League's game of the weekend.

My Chelsea vs. Tottenham predictions back the Blues to take all three points in what I expect to be an entertaining, high-scoring encounter at Stamford Bridge.

Read on for my free betting picks for October 24, with kickoff scheduled for 12:30 p.m. ET on NBC.

Chelsea vs Tottenham predictions

My Chelsea vs Tottenham top pick: Chelsea moneyline

The market probability of a Chelsea victory is too low, presenting an excellent opportunity to back the hosts.

Tottenham may have secured their first Premier League win of the season with last weekend's 3-1 home victory over Coventry City, but there's still a clear difference in quality between these two teams.

Chelsea sit seven points above Tottenham in the standings and are unbeaten at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League this season (2W-1D-0L). The Blues also head into this game following convincing back-to-back victories over Everton (2-0 away) and Bournemouth (5-1 home).

Tottenham are making progress under manager Roberto De Zerbi, but I expect them to come up short here. Play Chelsea up to 65%.

My Chelsea vs Tottenham Over/Under pick: Over 3.5 goals (43% probability)

Chelsea have been an Over specialist this season, and I expect that high-scoring trend to continue.

Six of Chelsea's first seven Premier League games in 2026-27 have produced Over 2.5 goals, with four clearing the Over 3.5 line. Their matches have averaged a league-high 4.3 total goals.

Tottenham's goal figures are more modest, but they scored three times in last weekend's 3-1 win over Coventry. The visitors will need to take an attacking approach because their chances of keeping Chelsea's rampant frontline quiet are slim.

Over 3.5 goals is my pick, playable up to 48%.

Chelsea vs Tottenham combo

Kalshi

Chelsea moneyline

Over 2.5 goals

For this combo, I'm dropping the total from Over 3.5 to Over 2.5 goals. That brings a couple of additional Chelsea winning scorelines, such as 2-1 and 3-0, into play.

Four of Chelsea's six wins in all competitions this season have featured at least three goals. Since taking over in the summer, manager Xabi Alonso has set his team up to take risks and attack with intensity, even if that leaves gaps at the back.
