Sunday serves us up the first installment of the North London Derby this season, with Arsenal and Tottenham meeting at the Emirates. Just eight points separate the two in the Premier League, with Arsenal the favorites for the title.

This game is always a fascinating one, but will Tottenham be able to have any luck against Arsenal’s impressive defense?

Our Arsenal vs Tottenham predictions are saying no, and backing Spurs to finish with Under 0.5 goals.

Premier League predictions for Arsenal vs Tottenham

My Arsenal vs Tottenham best bet: Tottenham Under 0.5 goals (-111 at Sports Interaction)

The North London Derby always throws up interesting games, but it’s a game that Arsenal have had the best of in recent years, with four wins and a draw in the previous five meetings at the Emirates.

In every single one of those games, the Spurs have still managed to score, but that doesn’t look likely here.

Arsenal have been defensively sound under Mikel Arteta, but this season they’ve gone up a level, conceding just the one goal in five home games, that coming against Manchester City in September.

Overall, Arsenal have been incredibly defensively, conceding just five goals in 11 games. Those goals came in just three games, meaning that Arsenal have kept eight clean sheets in the Premier League.

The most impressive thing about Arsenal is how much depth Arteta has at his disposal in defense, and with Gabriel Magalhaes injured, we’ll see either Cristhian Mosquera or Piero Hincapie come into the lineup.

Arsenal have kept eight clean sheets in their past nine games in all competitions, and with Spurs failing to score in three of their past six in all competitions, there’s a high chance of another clean sheet for the Gunners.

Arsenal vs Tottenham same-game parlay (SGP)

Tottenham Under 0.5 goals

Arsenal to win

Pape Matar Sarr to be shown a card

Our Same-Game Parlay for Arsenal vs Tottenham is good value. In addition to backing Under 0.5 Spurs’ goals, we’re taking Arsenal to win. They’ve won eight of 11 games this season and have an excellent record at the Emirates, losing just once to Spurs in 19 games there.

The final leg of our SGP sees us backing Pape Matar Sarr to get booked.

The energetic midfielder has given up an average of 2.52 fouls per 90 minutes played, more than anybody else on the Spurs team with more than three games played.

Against a team of Arsenal’s quality, things might get tough, and we could easily see him get booked if he fouls as much as he’s averaged.
