Our best NHL player props for Monday, December 15
Take a look at our best bets and expert analysis below.
Prop #1: Gabriel Vilardi anytime goal
Winnipeg Jets forward Gabriel Vilardi has been one of the hottest scorers in hockey, notching 10 goals over his past 12 games.
This success is likely to continue against the Ottawa Senators, a team that ranks 23rd in goals allowed per game.
Poor goaltending has been the primary factor in these struggles, particularly the play of tonight's projected starter Linus Ullmark, who possesses an .877 save percentage through 23 starts this season.

Prop #2: Steven Stamkos anytime goal
Speaking of poor goaltending, Jordan Binnington is expected to start for the St. Louis Blues as they host the Nashville Predators in the nightcap. It has been the worst season of Binnington’s career; he owns an .869 save percentage and 3.49 goals-against average through 21 appearances.
He is coming off a particularly poor performance against Nashville last week, a game in which he surrendered six goals on 25 shots for a fade-worthy .760 save percentage. Predators forward Steven Stamkos scored four times in that outing, and it’s worth taking a shot on him to keep the hot hand going.
Stamkos has now registered eight goals over his past nine games.

Prop #3: Filip Forsberg anytime goal
Sticking with the same game, Filip Forsberg is another Nashville forward to consider backing. Like Stamkos, Forsberg enters this contest in good form with two goals over his past four games.
Also like Stamkos, one of those goals came against the Blues in last week’s matchup. Forsberg has routinely dominated St. Louis over the past few seasons, scoring seven goals across the past eight meetings.
Binnington started for St. Louis in each of the meetings in which Forsberg found the back of the net.
