Our best NHL player props for Friday, November 7

Take a look at our best bets and expert analysis below.

Prop #1: Connor Bedard Over 0.5 assists

-105 at BET99

The Calgary Flames host the Chicago Blackhawks to kick off the late window of tonight's slate. Goaltender Dustin Wolf is projected to get the nod for Calgary and should serve as a good fade candidate.

Through 13 starts this season, Wolf is 4-8-1 with a .895 SV%. If anyone on Chicago is likely to generate offense against him, it’s Connor Bedard.

While Bedard is always a threat to score, his playmaking ability ranks among the best in the league. He has recorded at least one assist in each of his past five games.

Prop #2: Tyler Bertuzzi Over 0.5 points

-110 at BET99

Sticking in the same game, that Bedard assist could come off the stick of Tyler Bertuzzi. That exact scenario occurred in the Hawks’ 5-2 win over the Vancouver Canucks on Wednesday, when Bedard fed Bertuzzi for a tap-in on the back door during a power play.

Bertuzzi plays a net-front role on both the first power-play unit and the second line, which means he can produce in a variety of ways. Whether it’s a back-door pass, a tipped shot, or generating a rebound in front of the net, he stays busy in his net-front role.

Through these methods, Bertuzzi has tallied eight points over the past nine games.

Prop #3: Macklin Celebrini Under 0.5 points

+155 at BET99

While one generational superstar was covered with the first prop, his counterpart to watch is San Jose Sharks’ center Macklin Celebrini. Like Bedard, Celebrini will undoubtedly become one of the faces of hockey as the next generation starts to take over.

The season is young, but Celebrini is tied for first in the league with 21 points alongside Connor McDavid and Jack Eichel. Perhaps the takeover has already begun, but for now, it’s time to sell high on Celebrini in this matchup against the Winnipeg Jets.

This play isn’t a fade of Celebrini himself, but rather of the hype surrounding his recent play and the fact that he’s facing the best goaltender in the world.

Connor Hellebuyck is projected to start between the pipes, and he enters this contest in tremendous form. Over his past seven starts, Hellebuyck boasts a .932 SV% and 2.01 GAA.
