The 6-1 Indianapolis Colts continue to prove they are no fluke, especially on offense, and will get to face a bad defense in Lucas Oil Stadium when they host the 1-6 Tennessee Titans.

The first matchup between these two teams this season was the Jonathan Taylor show, and I expect an encore in the rematch this Sunday.

Titans vs Colts prediction

Titans vs Colts Best bet: Jonathan Taylor 2+ touchdowns (+140)

Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor continues to torch opposing defenses with a combination of power and speed.

He leads the league in rushing with 697 yards and 10 touchdowns.

That is 99.6 yards per game and 5.3 yards per carry.

The Titans rank 29th in the NFL in rushing defense, allowing 139.6 yards per game. More importantly, they have allowed a league-most 12 rushing touchdowns through seven games this season.

With Taylor’s rushing total set in the triple digits, I prefer his touchdowns prop as my best bet.

Taylor leads all running backs with 10 touchdowns and 509 yards after contact, while averaging 3.9 yards after contact per carry.

The Titans have allowed 561 yards after contact to running backs this season and 3.3 yards after contact per carry.

They have also surrendered 10 rushing touchdowns to running backs, which is the most in the NFL.

Taylor ran for 102 yards and three touchdowns in the Week 3 matchup in Nashville, in which the Colts won 41-20.

I expect a very similar game here, where Taylor and the Colts can dominate by lighting up the scoreboard, mainly through the ground game.

Titans vs Colts same-game parlay

To add to my best bet, I am going to add the Over, as the Colts offense is the best in the NFL, and the Titans have allowed more than 30 points at least three times this season.

Finally, I am taking Cam Ward to stay under his passing total. He struggles mightily when passing under pressure, and the Colts are great at pressuring opposing quarterbacks.

Titans vs Colts SGP

  • Jonathan Taylor 2+ touchdowns
  • Cam Ward Under 206.5 passing yards

Our big-ticket SGP: Speared!

Tyjae Spears has hit this number in each of the past two games, but the Colts are good against running backs in the passing game and typically only allow the primary runner to get a few catches.

  • Jonathan Taylor 2+ touchdowns
  • Cam Ward Under 206.5 passing yards
  • Over 46.5
  • Tyjae Spears Under 2.5 receptions
