DeVonta Smith stole the show for the Philadelphia Eagles when these two teams met in the Super Bowl two years ago, and we expect a similar performance from the Eagles wideout in Sunday’s rematch.

The Philadelphia Eagles are looking for revenge against the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl 59

Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith had a big game in their previous Super Bowl matchup, racking up seven catches for 100 yards, including a 45-yard reception.

The latest Super Bowl odds offer up another great performance from the former Heisman winner, so let's look at the latest DeVonta Smith odds and delve into my NFL picks for Sunday, February 9.

DeVonta Smith Over 4.5 receptions

My best bet
Over 4.5 receptions (-105 at Caesars)

My analysis
Although DeVonta Smith has yet to eclipse this number in the postseason, don’t let that scare you off this bet ahead of Super Bowl LIX. Smith will likely have one of the best WR matchups in the game when he lines up against Kansas City Chiefs corner Chamarri Conner.

A.J. Brown will be the main focus of the Chiefs’ defense in the passing game, with top CB Trent McDuffie covering the Philadelphia Eagles wideout. With Jahan Dotson on the other side, that allows the shifty Smith to line up in the slot and take advantage of Kansas City’s defense in the shorter passing game.

Smith may be known for his speed and ability to stretch the field, but he can also use that to his benefit on quick slants or underneath routes to catch and run against opposing defenses. Smith was targeted nine times (seven catches) two years ago in the Super Bowl and had another strong performance against the Chiefs last year, boasting six catches for 99 yards.

The star receiver went Over 4.5 catches in his final three regular-season games and has caught all 12 targets in this year's playoffs. The Eagles should look to increase Smith's usage with a favorable matchup looming in the slot.

DeVonta Smith same-game parlay

DeVonta Smith Over 4.5 receptions

DeVonta Smith Over 52.5 receiving yards

DeVonta Smith anytime touchdown

Smith has played well against the Chiefs in his career, boasting 13 catches on 18 targets for 221 yards in two games, but he’s yet to find the end zone.

I’m expecting that to change this week on the game’s biggest stage. He had a touchdown in seven of 13 regular-season games this season, including in three of his final four contests. The running game has understandably taken over in the playoffs, but look for Smith to get in on the action at this +525 SGP price.
