Saints vs Seahawks Best bet: Jaxon Smith-Njigba Over 74.5 receiving yards (-114)
Despite the addition of Cooper Kupp, Jaxon Smith-Njigba went into the 2025 season as the Seattle Seahawks’ WR1, and he’s fully lived up to expectations through the first two weeks. The Ohio State product has already reeled in 17 catches for 227 yards.
Smith-Njigba has easily cashed the Over in both games, putting up over 100 yards receiving in each. He cooked the San Francisco 49ers for 124 yards in Week 1, and then put up another 103 yards receiving in a win over the Pittsburgh Steelers last Sunday.
The Saints’ secondary has looked respectable so far, but Smith-Njigba is a weapon, and he’s got major confidence at the moment. He’ll have another big game as Seattle looks to improve to 2-1.
Saints vs Seahawks same-game parlay
The Seahawks have lost three straight to the Saints, but their last meeting was in 2022. A lot has changed on both sides since then. Seattle just grabbed an impressive victory over the new-look Steelers, and they will be coming into this one with momentum.
Seattle covered the spread in Week 2, winning 31-17. New Orleans has shown a bit of promise with Spencer Rattler under center, but they’re clearly in a rebuild right now. Seattle shouldn’t have any issues winning by a touchdown, at the very least.
Sam Darnold’s start to his Seahawks career has been respectable, completing 67.9% of his throws for 445 yards and two touchdowns against two interceptions. He threw for 295 passing yards last weekend after just 150 yards through the air in Week 1.

The Seahawks are a heavy -390 moneyline home favorite in Week 3. They lost their first game of the year at Lumen Field, and Seattle actually struggled on home turf last year, going 3-6. But, they’re simply a better team than the Saints, and shouldn’t have any issues winning this contest, hence the steep odds.
Saints vs Seahawks spread prediction
The Hawks are laying 7.5 points on the spread. While they’ve lost three in a row to NOLA, this is their first clash since 2022. Seattle comfortably covered last weekend, putting a beatdown on Mike Tomlin’s Steelers. They will keep it rolling here.
Saints vs Seahawks Over/Under prediction
Neither team has been electric on either side of the ball so far. While Rattler has had glimpses of brilliance at times as QB1, I don’t expect him to put up a lot of points. The total is set at 41.5, and the Under offers value. Whether it’s Seattle grabbing a blowout victory or a low-scoring affair, I don't expect a shootout at Lumen Field.
