The Los Angeles Rams and Tennessee Titans clash in Week 2 on Sunday, September 14, at Nissan Stadium in Nashville.

L.A.’s defense held a solid Houston Texans team to nine points in Week 1, and my early Rams vs Titans predictions expect them to keep Tennessee in check.

Rams vs Titans predictions

Here are our early thoughts on the spread and total for this week’s game. We will have a full game preview (with a best bet and SGP) later in the week.

Early Rams vs Titans spread pick: Rams -5.5

The Los Angeles Rams made an impressive playoff run last season, and although they did part ways with Cooper Kupp, the organization managed to bring in Davante Adams — one of the best pass-catchers in the league. Pairing him with Puka Nacua is deadly, and they both impressed in Week 1.

Despite scoring just 14 points, Nacua had 10 catches for 130 yards, while Adams reeled in four receptions for 51 yards. These two will cause a fit for any defense this season, and the Titans will have their work cut out for them on Sunday.

Plus, Kyren Williams is also a stud at running back, and Matthew Stafford has still got it.

When it comes to defense, the Rams looked solid in the season opener, limiting CJ Stroud & Co. to single digits in points. They held them to just 265 total yards.

Cam Ward threw for just 112 yards in his debut against the Denver Broncos and put up only 12 points. The Broncos have a good defense as well, and Ward is up against another strong group here.

L.A. shouldn’t have any issues running away with a convincing victory.

Early Rams vs Titans total pick: Under 42.5

I don't see the Tennessee Titans scoring many points this season. That doesn’t mean Ward won’t show glimpses of brilliance in Year 1, but it will be a grind for him.

While the Rams have a lot more weapons, they ranked 15th in the NFL in total yards in 2024, averaging only 21.9 points per game.

Yes, I do believe Los Angeles should be able to score more than 14 points in Week 2 because Tennessee’s defense is not nearly as strong as Houston’s, but don’t expect a high-scoring affair.

The Under screams value.
