Packers vs Cowboys Props & Best Bets for Sunday Night Football Week 4

Jake Ferguson, not George Pickens, will be Dak Prescott's favorite target with CeeDee Lamb sidelined. Our Packers vs Cowboys props are all in on Ferguson's receptions, while also expecting some shaky QB play overall.

The Dallas Cowboys return home to face the Green Bay Packers on Sunday Night Football.

Both teams are coming off losses in Week 3, and Dallas has now allowed over 30 points in two straight games.

There are plenty of NFL player props to choose from for this Sunday Night Football matchup.

Here are my Packers vs. Cowboys player props for Sunday, September 28.

Cowboys Dak Prescott To throw an INT -156
Packers Jordan Love Under 19.5 completions +106
Cowboys Jake Ferguson Over 6.5 receptions +116

Dak Prescott to throw an interception (-156)

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott is always in the spotlight, especially after a week in which he threw two interceptions. Prescott now has three interceptions and as many touchdowns through the first three games this season.

Prescott started with a safe enough game against the Eagles, completing just 61.8% of his passes but not turning the ball over. However, he then threw one pick against the Giants and two against the Bears.

The Green Bay Packers defense has an interception in two of their first three games, picking off Jared Goff in Week 1 and Joe Flacco last week.

Green Bay is a big road favorite, meaning the Cowboys should have to pass a lot in the second half. That will result in another Prescott pick.

Jordan Love Under 19.5 completions

In a similar game script-fueled play, I’m taking Jordan Love to complete fewer than 20 passes on Sunday Night Football. This isn’t anything against Love, but rather the Cowboys’ ability to stay in the game.

However, Love still hasn’t reached the 20-completion mark this season. He went 16 of 22 in Week 1, 19 of 31 in Week 2, and 18 of 25 last week.

The only quarterback who had at least 20 completions against the Cowboys this season was Russell Wilson, as New York and Dallas had a back-and-forth affair. Otherwise, Jalen Hurts and Caleb Williams had 19 completions apiece.

The Packers should be happy to run the ball and the clock in the second half, keeping Love’s attempts and completions down.

Jake Ferguson Over 6.5 receptions

The Cowboys will be without top receiver CeeDee Lamb, but the wideout hasn’t been Prescott’s favorite target this season. That honor would go to tight end Jake Ferguson, who has 32 targets through three weeks to Lamb’s 24 and George Pickens’ 22.

Ferguson has seen his offensive activity ramp up this season. He had just six targets in Week 1, which doubled in Week 2, and got even higher with 14 last week.

Sam LaPorta and Zach Ertz each had six catches against the Packers to begin the season, and David Njoku (5) and Harold Fannin Jr. (3) combined for eight last week.

Ferguson will be Prescott’s top target and even potentially a checkdown option on Sunday Night Football.
