The bad blood between Micah Parsons and Jerry Jones is hogging the headlines for Sunday Night Football’s clash between the Green Bay Packers and Dallas Cowboys.
However, another “J.J.” could steal the show in Week 4.
Green Bay running back Josh Jacobs is a huge part of this Packers attack and could be even more potent in the passing game, given the Cheeseheads' health on the offensive line.

Packers vs Cowboys Best bet: Josh Jacobs Over 13.5 receiving yards (-114)
The Green Bay Packers playbook is anchored in the run, but there could be major chunks missing from that game plan in Week 4.
The Packers' offensive line is very dinged up, with RT Zach Tom doubtful, LG Aaron Banks missing practice, and LTs Rasheed Walker and Anthony Belton limited in prep. Not only do those injuries take away the push up front on running plays, but they also leave QB Jordan Love vulnerable under center.
We saw the pass protection crumble in last Sunday’s 13-10 collapse at Cleveland, with Love getting sacked five times and pressured on 42% of his dropbacks. While the Dallas Cowboys don’t bring the same relentless pass rush as the Browns, the missing protection won’t leave Love much time in the pocket.
The Cowboys’ zone-heavy schemes have been gashed for big plays through three weeks, so there’s an emphasis on not letting anything in behind the coverage. A hurried Love will instead look to do damage with quicker throws underneath, targeting RB Josh Jacobs as a receiver.
Jacobs was used very little as a passing option in the Packers’ first two wins – both blowouts. However, against Cleveland, he drew nine targets for five receptions and 44 yards through the air. Jacobs is a very capable pass catcher, finishing with 342 receiving yards in 2024 (more than 20 yards per game).
Week 4 player models all come in above Jacobs’ total of 13.5 receiving yards, with the majority calling for 20 or more, including a high of 24.5 yards. The Cowboys have already allowed the ninth most receiving yards to running backs in 2025, including 45 yards on three grabs from Chicago dual-threat RB D’Andre Swift.

Dallas’ defense is dreadful, and with top WR CeeDee Lamb likely out, the Cowboys are in a tough spot on SNF. The revenge spot for Micah Parsons is real.
Jacobs is the quick-release option with the O-line missing bodies. Projections love the dual-threat RB to go for 20 or more through the air.
Jordan Love can pick apart this Dallas secondary, and projections all lean toward two touchdown passes.
