The Detroit Lions got a much-needed win last Thursday when they beat the Cowboys 44-30. That said, they were torched by Dak Prescott and were lucky that CeeDee Lamb was injured early in the third quarter. They also surrendered 31 points to Green Bay the previous week.
I've lost faith in Detroit's defense, which started the season strong but has ranked 23rd in EPA since the beginning of November. Injuries to Pro Bowl safeties Kerby Joseph and Brian Branch, and corner Terrion Arnold, have decimated the Lions' secondary.
Now they go on the road to face the Los Angeles Rams, who lead the league in EPA/play and success rate. The Rams are led by long-time Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford, who is the current MVP favorite.
With Stafford slinging the ball to a loaded WR corps, L.A. has dropped 34+ points in five of its last seven games. Expect the Rams to eclipse their team total again in Week 15.

Lions vs Rams same-game parlay
Detroit's defense has been solid against the run, so expect L.A. to rely on Stafford and the aerial attack. He's fourth in the NFL in passing yards (3,354) and should cook a depleted Lions secondary that ranks 27th in defensive dropback EPA since Week 9.
Stafford also leads the NFL in passing touchdowns with 35 and has thrown more than 2.5 TDs in seven of his last 10 games.
Even when the Rams get close to the goal line, they've been choosing not to run the ball and instead throw quick slants and fades to Davante Adams. The wideout leads the league in red-zone targets (30) and receiving touchdowns (14) by a wide margin.
