The Philadelphia Eagles have lost two straight games after starting the season 4-0, and face off against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 7.

The Vikings are coming off a close 21-17 win in Cleveland, and are 1-1 at home with a 22-6 loss to the Falcons and a 48-10 win over Cincinnati.

There are plenty of player props to choose from for this matchup on Sunday afternoon, and I’m targeting three players who had slow starts to the season.

Here are my Eagles vs. Vikings player props and NFL picks for October 19.

Eagles vs Vikings props

Player Pick FanDuel
Eagles Saquon Barkley  Over 97.5 rushing + receiving yards -114
Eagles A.J. Brown Over 4.5 receptions -114
Vikings Justin Jefferson Over 84.5 receiving yards -114

Prop bet #1: Saquon Barkley Over 97.5 rushing + receiving yards

-114 at FanDuel

Saquon Barkley has had an extremely slow start to the season, not only by his standards, but for any running back. His 326 yards rank 22nd in the NFL, and his 3.4 yards per carry is simply not up to par.

But if there’s ever a week for Barkley to break through, it’s on Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings.

Minnesota allowed Browns rookie Quinshon Judkins to run for 110 yards and add 18 receiving yards last week, and Kenneth Gainwell had 99 rushing yards and 35 receiving yards the week prior.

The Bengals understandably didn’t do much against the Vikings, but Bijan Robinson racked up 168 yards (143 rushing, 25 receiving) back in Week 2.

The Philadelphia Eagles had a long week after a Thursday Night Football loss to the Giants. They should look to feed Barkley on Sunday in Minnesota.

Prop bet #2: A.J. Brown Over 4.5 receptions

Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown also started the season slowly, but he’s seen his number called more and more over the last few weeks.

He’s had at least eight targets in each of the last five weeks after being targeted just once in Week 1. That’s resulted in 5, 6, 2, 5, and 6 catches for the wideout.

The Vikings have allowed top receivers like Brown to haul in a handful of catches each week. DK Metcalf had five for 126 yards two weeks ago, and Ja’Marr Chase had five as well the week before that.

Brown’s catch line is probably where it should be given his season thus far, but it should have more juice than this -114.

Prop bet #3: Justin Jefferson Over 84.5 receiving yards

-114 at FanDuel

Justin Jefferson has also seen his usage ramp up in recent weeks. After 7, 6, and 7 targets in the first three games, he was targeted 11 times in each of the last two games.

The Vikings' wideout had 10 catches for 126 yards against the Steelers and then seven catches for 123 yards against the Browns last week.

He got close to this 85-yard mark in the two prior weeks, too, with 75 yards on five catches and 81 on three receptions.

The Eagles have been victimized by receivers like CeeDee Lamb, Puka Nacua, Emeka Egbuka, Cortland Sutton, and Wan’Dale Robinson this season. Jefferson should have a field day on Sunday.
