Justin Herbert Over 17.5 rushing yards

-110 at bet365

I know Justin Herbert is considered questionable with a hand injury, and I know he may be a little hesitant to run if he could get tackled on that hand, but this is such a great matchup and such a low number to pass up.

Herbert averages 29.4 rushing yards per game and has nine outings with at least 19 yards rushing. The Philadelphia Eagles' defense ranks dead last in defending quarterback scrambles, and that's where Herbert does most of his rushing, not through designed runs.

Because of the injury, there is a strong chance Herbert does not run a single designed play, including sneaks. That doesn't mean he's not going to run at all in passing situations, and that is where both he has excelled, and the Eagles have suffered.

Jalen Hurts Over 29.5 rushing yards

As much as I love Herbert's Over, I may like this one even more.

Jalen Hurts has rushed for at least 30 yards six times this season, including in each of the last three weeks. Four quarterbacks have rushed for 30+ yards against the Los Angeles Chargers, and they allow 18.6 rushing yards per game to QBs, which ranks 19th in the NFL.

L.A. is great at stuffing inside runs and will make things difficult for Saquon Barkley. If the Eagles want to be successful on offense this week, they'll need to unleash the legs of Hurts through both scrambles and designed runs. I feel confident they'll do just that.

Dallas Goedert Over 27.5 receiving yards

-110 at bet365

It has not been a great season for Philly's tight end, but this is a nice matchup for Dallas Goedert. The Chargers have a great pass defense, but the one area they're mediocre is defending passes in between the numbers.

Los Angeles ranks second overall in passing yards allowed, but 16th in defending tight targets, allowing 27.8 yards per game. Hurts has completed 76.9% of passes inside the numbers, which is fifth best in the NFL. The Chargers have allowed a 72.3% completion percentage on passes between the numbers compared to a 52.3% mark outside.

Goedert has not had many catches this year, but he's still averaging 36.6 yards per game and 10.1 yards per catch. This matchup should provide him with more targets than he has been getting for much of this season, and he'll take advantage.
