The Cardinals' offense may be slept on, but Geoff Clark doesn't expect a return to form for Marvin Harrison Jr.

Seattle heads to State Farm Stadium as a 3.5-point favorite over Arizona on Sunday, Sept. 20, with kickoff set for 4:25 p.m. ET.

My Seahawks vs. Cardinals prediction focuses on a lower-scoring matchup with Drew Lock under center.

Check out the rest of our NFL picks for Week 2.

Seahawks vs Cardinals prediction: Under 41.5

The Under is tradable down to 40.5 because I'm expecting a monumental effort from the Seattle Seahawks' defense, but I don't want to take them as a road favorite with backup quarterback Drew Lock replacing injured starter Sam Darnold.

Seattle's defense held the Patriots to just 4.1 yards per play last week in a 13-10 win and intercepted New England quarterback Drake Maye three times. You could feel the Seahawks turn it up defensively after Darnold got hurt in the first quarter.

Also, the Cardinals were 21st last week in seconds per play, while the Seahawks were 24th. I'm assuming Seattle will want to slow the pace down again this week without Darnold under center.

Covers COVERS INTEL: The Seahawks are 8-3 against the spread with a rest advantage since hiring head coach Mike Macdonald in 2024.

Seahawks vs Cardinals combo

This combo is built around Seattle winning an ugly game rather than running away with it.

With Lock under center, I expect the Seahawks to play conservatively, shorten the game, and lean on a defense that looked dominant once Darnold went down last week. That obviously supports the Under. I'm using Seattle's moneyline instead of -3.5 because Lock makes laying more than a field goal tougher to justify.

Cardinals wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr.'s Under 34.5 receiving yards fits the narrative. Arizona has several legitimate options to distribute targets to, and Harrison now draws a Seattle secondary that should be much tougher than the Chargers unit he faced last week.

 TOP PICK
Seahawks vs Cardinals player prop: Marvin Harrison Jr. Under 34.5 receiving yards

The lowest I'd go on the Under for Arizona wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr.'s receiving prop is 32.5 yards.

Harrison only caught one pass last week for 33 yards vs. the Los Angeles Chargers, who have a much worse secondary than Seattle. His three targets in Week 1 were the fewest of any Cardinals wideout or tight end.

Finally, as crazy as this sounds, there are too many mouths to feed in Arizona, including All-Pro TE Trey McBride, breakout wide receiver Michael Wilson, and running back Jeremiyah Love, who was selected third overall in the 2026 NFL Draft.
