Daniel Jones and the Giants' offense have been anything but pretty to watch this year, and we don’t expect the G-Men to gain any traction against the stingy Commanders.

The Washington Commanders are looking to build off last week’s Hail Mary victory as they head up to the Meadowlands to take on the New York Giants.

The Commanders have won six of seven games since their season-opening loss, while the Giants have dropped three straight to fall to 2-6.

Find out why my Commanders vs. Giants picks expect the New York offense to continue to struggle in my best NFL picks for Week 9 on Sunday, November 3.

Kickoff is set for 1:00 p.m. ET from MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, with the game airing on FOX.

Commanders vs Giants prediction

My best bet
New York Giants team total Under 20.5 (-125 at BetMGM)

My analysis

The New York Giants are not a good football team right now. They sit at 2-6 and are sputtering on offense, averaging just 14.6 points per game.

One of the Giants’ main issues is their inability to find the end zone. Even when the G-Men put up 18 points last week against Pittsburgh, they scored just one touchdown, with field goals accounting for 12 of those 18 points. Things won’t get easier in Week 9 against the NFC East-leading Washington Commanders.

Washington has been extremely stout on defense this season, surrounding 20+ only three times this season and just once in its last five games. Since allowing 30 points in Baltimore three weeks ago, the Commanders coughed up just 22 points combined to the Panthers and Bears.

The Commanders already held the Giants to 18 points in Week 2, and now New York is even more beat up and disconnected. Fade the G-Men offense on Sunday.

Commanders vs Giants same-game parlay

Commanders -4

Under 44.5

Jayden Daniels anytime touchdown

Although the Commanders' offense is dynamic, reaching 30 points might be tough. If they hold the Giants to 17 points or fewer — say, with a final score of 27-17 — they'll cover the spread while staying under the 44.5-point total.

The Giants allowed two rushing touchdowns to Jalen Hurts two weeks ago and one to Joe Burrow the week prior. Jayden Daniels ran for 44 yards on 10 carries in Week 2 against the Giants and should find the end zone this time around.
