With four straight division crowns, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are the Kings of the NFC South, and they’ll look to add to the New Orleans Saints’ misery as these two rivals square off on Sunday.
New Orleans has limped to a 1-6 start under Kellen Moore, and my Buccaneers vs. Saints predictions expect their struggles to continue against Baker Mayfield and a Tampa Bay team eager to rinse out the taste of a MNF loss.
Read on for my NFL picks ahead of this October 26 clash.

Buccaneers vs Saints prediction
Buccaneers vs Saints Best bet: Buccaneers -4.5 (-102)
A short turnaround after the MNF primetime spot can sometimes be a negative, but the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will surely be itching to get back on the field after a disappointing loss to the Detroit Lions last time out.
That’s perhaps even more true when you consider their record against the New Orleans Saints, their Week 8 opponents. The Bucs have won five of the last six meetings between these teams, with their past three victories over the Saints coming by a combined 49 points.
I don’t see Tampa Bay relinquishing the upper hand this weekend, and the Baker Mayfield-Spencer Rattler QB mismatch is a good place to start. Rattler is coming off a nightmare outing in Week 7, tossing three picks and losing a fumble in a loss to the Chicago Bears.
While the Bucs felt the absence of key offensive weapons on Monday night, Mayfield still has Emeka Egbuka, Cade Otton and Rachaad White to move the ball down the field.
New Orleans is 3-7 ATS in its past 10 contests, and only the Cleveland Browns, Las Vegas Raiders and Tennessee Titans are averaging fewer points per game. There’s a different confidence level with Mayfield at the controls for Tampa Bay – and there’s only one quarterback I’d want in clutch moments.
Buccaneers vs Saints same-game parlay
Where would Tampa Bay be without Emeka Egbuka? The rookie has propped up the Bucs’ passing game with 527 receiving yards through seven contests, and Mayfield trusts him to make contested catches. Egbuka has found the end zone five times this season, and I’m picking him for another TD here.
Alvin Kamara may be running into a brick wall on Sunday against this Tampa Bay run defense, but his receiving skills can hurt a Bucs team that’s struggled to contain backfield pass-catchers this year. Though Kamara has only gone past this number in three of his last six outings, he had five catches for 45 yards in Week 6 and this matchup plays to his strengths.
Buccaneers vs Saints SGP
- Tampa Bay Buccaneers -4.5
- Emeka Egbuka anytime touchdown
- Alvin Kamara Over 20.5 receiving yards
Our big-ticket SGP: Don't Fade Cade!
Cade Otton is a crucial security blanket for Mayfield, who has targeted the tight end 20 times in the past three games.
Otton is coming off a busy night against Detroit – seven catches for 65 yards – and I expect him to be a popular checkdown option on Sunday.

- Alvin Kamara Over 20.5 receiving yards
