Pittsburgh hosts Cleveland Sunday, Nov. 1, at 1 p.m. ET as a 3.5-point favorite at Acrisure Stadium.
My early Browns vs. Steelers predictions hinge on Cleveland’s Week 4 upset and Pittsburgh's tough travel spot after Europe. Both the side and the total offer value.

Early Browns vs Steelers spread pick: Browns +3.5
I'm locking in the Cleveland Browns +3.5, down to +2.5, right now.
As I wrote last week in my Bengals-Ravens early prediction article: "Death, taxes, and underdogs in AFC North games are the only sure things in this world".
Granted, Cincinnati closed as favorites because Lamar Jackson missed the game, but my lean, and eventual pick, cashed.
Also, I'm fading the Pittsburgh Steelers, who were unimpressive in their 16-10 win over the New Orleans Saints in Paris on Sunday.
New Orleans had a legit chance to win that game despite rushing for only 18 yards on 17 carries, and teams are 0-5 against the spread this year, the week after playing in Europe without taking a bye.

Early Browns vs Steelers total pick: Over 38.5
This is more of a lean because Pittsburgh's offense is 25th in EPA per play and Cleveland's is 27th, according to Pro.NFL.
However, I'd take Over 38.5, up to 39.5, because my numbers have the Steelers winning 21-20. Their first meeting this season soared Over the 38.5-point total when the Browns upset the Steelers 27-24 in Cleveland in Week 4.
Browns QB Deshaun Watson had his second-best game by EPA this season against Pittsburgh. Meanwhile, the Over has hit in four of the five games featuring teams playing in their first game after Europe.
There’s also some hidden upside for explosive plays. Cleveland ranks 29th in missed tackles and Pittsburgh 31st, so even two mediocre offenses can create chunk gains after contact.
