Bengals vs Ravens Props & Best Bets for Thanksgiving Day Football

Lamar Jackson hasn’t been the same dual-threat demon we’ve grown accustomed to, and a nagging toe injury will limit him to a pocket-passing role on Thursday night.

The Baltimore Ravens host the Cincinnati Bengals in NFL action on Thanksgiving Day.

Lamar Jackson has led Baltimore to four straight wins since coming back from a hamstring injury. That said, Jackson hasn't displayed his usual mobility, and my NFL picks hope to take advantage of that.

The two-time NFL MVP headlines my three favorite Bengals vs. Ravens player props for Thursday, November 27.

Lamar Jackson Under 25.5 rushing yards (-110)

Lamar Jackson hasn't been running with his usual gusto, and playing through multiple lower-body injuries might be the reason.

Since coming back from a hamstring injury, the Baltimore Ravens quarterback has rushed for fewer than 15 yards in three of four games while averaging just 2.8 yards per carry over that span. Jackson's latest ailment is a toe injury that caused him to miss practice on Monday and could limit his mobility.

Although the Cincinnati Bengals have a brutal defense, they do a good job at containing QBs on the ground, allowing just 14.9 rushing yards per game to the position. With the Bengals ranking 29th in the league in pressure rate, Jackson won't be flushed out of the pocket.

Andrei Iosivas Over 34.5 receiving yards (-110)

Bengals fans can rejoice with Pro Bowl QB Joe Burrow returning to the field after missing 10 weeks. He should give a significant boost to the Cincy passing game, which bodes well for wide receiver Andre Iosivas.

Iosivas boasts more than 60 receiving yards in two of his last three games. He caught four of seven targets for 61 yards last week while All-Pro wideout Ja'Marr Chase served a suspension. Chase returns this week, but with No. 2 WR Tee Higgins out, Iosivas gets another start.

The Ravens are 24th in the league in passing yards allowed per game (231.6), and their defense will likely focus on stopping Chase. That should open things up for Iosivas.

Derrick Henry Over 18.5 rushing attempts (-120)

While I'm betting on Jackson to go below his rushing yards total, expect a busy day on the ground from Pro Bowl running back Derrick Henry. The Pro Bowler is sixth in the NFL in rushing yards (871) and has logged 19+ carries in five of his last six contests.

Temperatures will be just above freezing in Baltimore on Thursday, and the 247-pound bruiser thrives in cold-weather games. In addition, the Ravens are 7-point home favorites, so there's a strong chance that they'll play with a positive game script.

Expect them to feed Henry the ball against a Bengals defense that is 30th in success rate and DVOA against the run.
