No. 4 Miami and Clemson could be in for a wet and stormy night when their ACC showdown kicks off at 7:30 p.m. ET (ABC) from Memorial Stadium in Clemson, S.C.

The latest Miami vs. Clemson weather report calls for heavy rain throughout the game. Lightning could also interrupt this matchup between two teams unbeaten in ACC play.

Miami vs Clemson weather forecast

We should see temperatures in the low-to-mid 70s around kickoff, falling toward 70 later in the game. The National Weather Service forecast near Memorial Stadium calls for light winds around 2 to 3 mph through the evening.

Rain chances sit at 75% at 7 p.m. ET and 86% at 8 p.m., then stay between 73% and 76% through 11 p.m. Thunderstorms remain possible throughout the game, making nearby lightning a concern for both kickoff and play later in the night.

Clemson's official gameday page still lists a 7:30 p.m. ET kickoff. Fans can find weather updates on the school's website, the ClemsonTigers app, its radio broadcast, and the stadium videoboards.

How weather could impact Miami vs Clemson

Darian Mensah has completed a staggering 88.7% of his passes through Miami's first four games, though he'll be hard-pressed to keep that up tonight with a slick football and tougher conditions for his receivers to maintain their footing. The Hurricanes can lean on a ground game averaging 6.3 yards per carry if their aerial attack runs into issues.

Clemson rushed for 257 yards against California last week, but Miami is allowing just 1.9 yards per carry. If the Hurricanes take away that option, freshman quarterback Tait Reynolds could have to do more through the air in tricky conditions.

Miami vs Clemson prediction markets

As of Saturday afternoon, Miami was favored by 16.5 points with a 46.5-point total and roughly an 87% chance of a Hurricanes victory according to the latest Kalshi markets.

JD Yonke is backing Miami -16.5 and Under 46.5 in his Miami vs Clemson prediction. He expects Miami's advantage in the trenches to overwhelm Clemson, while the Tigers' offensive struggles and the chance that rain slows Miami should help his Under pick.
