The No. 7 Utah Utes take on the No. 10 Washington Huskies when the Pac-12 Tournament opens at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Wednesday.
The Huskies take the court for the first time since February 27 hoping that their 11-day break can help snap a three-game losing skid. The Utes, on the other hand, picked up just their second win in the previous seven games with a one-sided victory over Arizona State in the regular-season finale.

Against the spread (ATS) pick
These Pac-12 rivals split their two regular-season meetings, with Utah winning at home way back in December and Washington returning serve in Seattle with an 83-79 win as a 5.5-point home underdog on January 24. A lot has happened since then.
Utah is venturing outside of Salt Lake City for the first time since February 20 when it treks to Vegas for the opening round of the Pac-12 postseason. The Utes played their final four games of the schedule at home and have had poor results when leaving the Jon M. Huntsman Center, going 3-7 SU and 4-6 ATS away from Salt Lake this season.
Washington, meanwhile, hasn’t played at home since February 20, losing three straight road stops - two to Arizona State and a finale versus Arizona on February 27. The Huskies have, however, held their own as far as NCAA bettors are concerned, posting a 2-1 ATS mark during that skid and going 5-2 ATS in their final seven games of the regular season despite a 2-5 record SU.
The Huskies offense has picked up the pace in recent efforts and received some solid all-around contributions on that end of the floor. Washington had five players in double figures in the loss to Arizona and boasted four players with 11 or more points in the defeat to Arizona State on February 25.
With the Utes defense missing that home-court edge in the thin air of Salt Lake City (64.5 ppg allowed at home vs. 72.0 ppg allowed away), we like the Huskies to keep this closer than the bookies expect Wednesday night.
PREDICTION: Washington +7.5 (-110)
Over/Under Pick
Washington isn’t the only program seeing points from different places. Utah is coming off its most impressive offensive display of the year, bashing Arizona State for 98 points on Saturday.
The Utes fired at 59 percent from the field and finished the game with five players in double figures. Some of the notable contributions came from the bench, where Utah got 39 points off the pine versus the Sun Devils. That effort helped push Utah past the total for the third time in the previous four games.
Washington and Utah played Over the number in both regular-season meetings, topping totals of 134.5 and 141.5 points.
