Iowa wants to play one way, but Wisconsin won't let them when they meet up in Madison.

The Badgers have forced their style of play on almost every team they've faced, and this is a great spot to bet on that happening again. Especially with Wisconsin looking to bounce back from defeat.

My Iowa vs. Wisconsin predictions and college basketball picks tell you why I'm eyeing the Over on Sunday, February 22.

Iowa vs Wisconsin prediction

Iowa vs Wisconsin best bet: Over 147 (-110)

Iowa wants to play in the mud, but Wisconsin's offense won't let them. The Over is my best bet.

Wisconsin ranks 8th nationally in offensive efficiency in February and takes the 12th-highest three-point rate (50.8% of its shots). That will stretch Iowa's defense, which has allowed 74+ points in five of seven Big Ten road games.

The Over has cashed in five of Iowa's last six road games and five of Wisconsin's last seven overall. Iowa's own offense is too efficient to be held down in a game where Wisconsin pushes tempo.

Iowa vs Wisconsin same-game parlay

When Wisconsin's offense gets this game into the 70s on their end, Blackwell leads the charge as the primary rim attacker and transition scorer. Given the pace, I expect him to find success on the open floor. He starts my same-game parlay.

Stirtz is the soul of Iowa, and if the game is played on the open floor, he’ll have success. I expect him to feed teammates in a game with enough possessions to get there. He's hit 4+ assists in three of his last five. I paired him with Blackwell to finish things up.

Iowa vs Wisconsin SGP

  • Over 146.5 total points
  • John Blackwell Over 18.5 points
  • Bennett Stirtz Over 3.5 assists

Our beyond the arc SGP: The straw that Stirtz the drink

More Stirtz Show for our longshot. I’m not sure why this number is juiced to the Under, but I’m happy to take what I perceive to be value.

Stirtz has cleared this number with ease in two of his last four games, and those didn’t come in high-paced matchups. He should be able to spray out on the open floor for some clean looks in this matchup. I paired it with Cooper Koch to clear 3.5 rebounds. He’ll benefit from a high three-point rate game featuring tons of long rebounds.

Iowa vs Wisconsin SGP

  • Over 146.5 total points
  • John Blackwell Over 18.5 points
  • Bennett Stirtz Over 3.5 assists
  • Bennett Stirtz over 2.5 threes
  • Cooper Koch over 3.5 rebounds
