Victor Wembanyama predictions

Using our NBA prop projections, I identified the best way to target Wemby tonight. Our model calls for the San Antonio Spurs' superstar to hit 2.06 threes, which would surpass his 2+ total.

Wembanyama has surpassed this total in all three games of the series, hitting three in two of them. While I'm predicting he knocks down two, the 3+ market is priced at 31¢.

Prediction: Victor Wembanyama 2+ threes — YES (61¢)

Victor Wembanyama points projection for Game 5

While Wemby certainly showed out in the San Antonio Spurs' Game 4 win, our prop projections aren't expecting the same outcome.

That said, he'll do enough to reach 25+ points, with our model calling for 25.13 points.

Projection: Victor Wembanyama 25+ points — YES (61¢)

Victor Wembanyama assist projection for Game 5

Wembanyama is great at a lot of things, but playmaking isn't really something he's hanging his hat on. That's why our projections are calling for 3.38 assists, which would have him fall short of his 4+ mark.

Victor Wembanyama rebound projection for Game 5

Wemby's length makes him a beast on the boards, but even he has off days, such as Game 4, where he hauled in just eight boards. Our model expects another quieter night on the glass from the 7-foot-4 center, projecting 12.93 rebounds.

Will Victor Wembanyama record a triple-double in Game 5?

Victor Wembanyama affects every aspect of the game, and he's the only player with a triple-double market on Kalshi for Game 5.

What makes this so enticing is that Wembanyama can get here on points, rebounds, and blocks, rather than the traditional assists. I think that makes this a fun prediction, and one I'll hop on at these odds.

Prediction: Victor Wembanyama to record a triple-double — YES ()

Will Victor Wembanyama lead Game 5 in points?

Kalshi offers fun markets such as points leaders for Gam3 5, and Wembamyama is currently sitting at 32¢ to do so tonight. The only real player Wemby has to worry about challenging him for this is SGA, who has been locked down for the majority of this series.

No, Ajay Mitchell and the questionable tag on Jalen Williams allow the Spurs to focus more on the MVP, while the Thunder have no true answers for stopping the Spurs' star.

Prediction: Victor Wembanyama points leader — YES (32¢)

What is Kalshi and how does it work?

Kalshi is a federally regulated U.S. exchange where you trade directly on the outcome of real-world future events. Instead of traditional bets, you trade "Event Contracts" which are simple Yes/No questions like "Will Victor Wembanyama score 25+ points?" These events are priced between $0.01 and $0.99, and the prices reflect the market’s estimated probability of that event occurring. For instance, $0.55 equals a 55% chance. If your prediction is correct, the contract pays out exactly $1.00; if not, it settles at $0. Kalshi is essentially a stock market for reality.

How does Kalshi differ from sportsbooks?

In a sportsbook, you bet against the bookmaker, who sets fixed odds and takes a "vig," which is a kind of commission. On Kalshi, you trade against other users. This peer-to-peer model means prices are driven by supply and demand, often resulting in fairer odds. Additionally, because these are financial derivatives, you can exit your position early. If your team takes a 14-point lead, the contract price will rise, allowing you to sell your "Yes" shares for a profit before the final whistle even blows.

Why should I wager on Victor Wembanyama props at Kalshi?

Kalshi offers four unique advantages over traditional sportsbooks:

  1. Flexibility: Unlike a "locked-in" bet, you can sell your contract at any time.

  2. Transparency: You trade against other users, which can allow you to find better value.

  3. Federal regulation: As a CFTC-regulated exchange, your funds are held in a secure, transparent environment.

  4. Availability: Kalshi is available in many regions where traditional sportsbooks aren't yet legal.
