The Chicago Bulls are off to a strong 6-1 start heading into tonight’s matchup against the Milwaukee Bucks, thanks in large part to the emergence of Josh Giddey, who has become one of the league's best playmakers this season.

I’ll break down why Giddey should pick up plenty of assists in my Bulls vs. Bucks predictions and NBA picks for Friday, November 7.

Bulls vs Bucks prediction

Bulls vs Bucks best bet: Josh Giddey Over 8.5 assists (-128)

The Chicago Bulls got back into the win column on Tuesday with a 113-111 victory over Philadelphia, and Josh Giddey made some NBA history in the process.

Giddey posted 23 points, 12 boards, and 12 assists to become the first Bulls player since Michael Jordan to post consecutive triple-doubles.

Chicago’s guard has taken a huge step this season, currently averaging 23.1 points and 9.1 assists per game. Giddey, who ranks fifth in the league in apg, has recorded more than 8.5 dimes in five of seven contests.

He should have no problem hitting that number against a Milwaukee Bucks team that ranks 22nd in ppg (119.1).

Bulls vs Bucks same-game parlay

Nikola Vucevic has been just as important as Giddey for Chicago’s early-season success, grabbing 12 rebounds per game. The Bulls center has eclipsed 9.5 boards in five of six games this season.

I’m surprised the 6-1 Bulls are a +145 underdog tonight against the Bucks, who are coming off a blowout loss to Toronto.

Giannis Antetokounmpo has been dealing with a knee injury and played just 24 minutes in that matchup, so I don't expect him to be able to carry Milwaukee to victory tonight.

  • Josh Giddey Over 8.5 assists
  • Nikola Vucevic Over 9.5 rebounds

Our "from downtown" SGP: Feeling Giddey

Giddey is coming off back-to-back triple-doubles and came just one or two rebounds or assists shy of the mark in each of the two prior games as well.

I like this matchup for Giddey and the Bulls against a Bucks team that’s gotten off to an underwhelming start.
