NASCAR Cook Out 400 long-shot predictions
Sleeper pick to win: Joey Logano
Kalshi probability: 11%
Joey Logano is frequently in the hunt at Richmond Raceway. Although he hasn't won here since 2017, he has gathered 11 Top 10s across his last 15 visits.
Logano's also picked up 24 of a possible 30 stage placings in that span while leading 463 laps.
The No. 22 driver had a three-race Top 10 streak halted at Iowa, but was not disgraced in 14th. He's still fourth in average finish at short tracks among full-time drivers dating back to 2023.

Sleeper pick to win: Bubba Wallace
Kalshi probability: 6%
Bubba Wallace's 28th-place finish at Richmond last year was too bad to be believed. He won a stage and led 128 laps prior to a late pit-road disaster in which one of his wheels was left loose and had to be re-adjusted.
Wallace ran fourth on this oval in his prior visit.
The No. 23 pilot was 12th at Iowa last week with 35 laps led. That was his worst finish on a short track all season.

Sleeper pick to win: Josh Berry
Kalshi probability: 2%
Josh Berry is fourth in average finish among full-time Cup Series participants at Richmond, topped by a runner-up result in 2023.
Berry picked up four of a possible eight stage placings in that sample while leading 12 laps. He guided this No. 21 Ford to an eighth-place result here in 2025.
Berry is fresh off his best effort of the season, running fourth at Iowa with a 98.8 driver rating.
