Zebby Matthews has been impressive lately for the Minnesota Twins. The right-hander owns a 3.68 xERA across his last five appearances while allowing just 2.51 BB/9.
Matthews is coming off a scoreless start against the New York Yankees, and he'll face a San Francisco Giants lineup that has posted an 85 wRC+ over the last week.
Blade Tidwell, meanwhile, has hit a rough patch with a 5.72 FIP over the last month. The 25-year-old has given up six earned runs across his previous two starts while allowing an 11.8% barrel rate during that span.
Minnesota's offense hasn't been much better lately, but against a struggling arm, the Twins have the slight edge tonight.
