It’s been such a wild stretch of MLB action; even the Colorado Rockies have strung together back-to-back victories, and we head into tonight’s slate with five teams nursing losing streaks of at least four games.
However, I'm more interested in MLB player props rather than picking sides, and I have a trio of players to target on June 17.
Best MLB player props today

Langford o1.5 TB (+120)

Henderson o0.5 RBI (+140)

MLB props for June 17
Wyatt Langford Over 1.5 total bases (+120 at bet365)
The Texas Rangers have climbed back to .500 with four straight wins. While that’s partly a byproduct of a friendly weekend series against the woeful Chicago White Sox, I expect the Rangers to stay hot as they take on the slumping Kansas City Royals tonight — led by more clutch at bats from Wyatt Langford.
Langford has served up eight hits across his past six outings, including a pair of singles in Saturday’s extra-innings win.
Though he posted a .189 batting average in May, he’s gradually turning that around this month while driving in seven runs and looking more like the hitter who posted a 1.052 OPS in April.
Gunnar Henderson Over 0.5 RBI (+140 at bet365)
This is looking like a lost season for the Baltimore Orioles, but that hasn’t stopped Gunnar Henderson from finding top gear at the plate. The Baltimore shortstop has been on a tear lately, with a .373 batting average and .899 OPS so far in June, powered by an impressive nine-game hit streak.
Henderson has also driven in five runs this month, and I’m grabbing the plus odds for him to add to that tally tonight against the Tampa Bay Rays.
The pitching matchup also stands out. Henderson has had the upper hand against Tampa Bay’s Zack Littell, with a 7-for-15 career mark and a pair of dingers.
Littell has given up six or more hits in each of his last three starts, and Henderson is seeing pitches like beach balls at the moment.
Robbie Ray Over 6.5 strikeouts (-105 at Caesars)
I'll wrap up my MLB picks with a pitching play.
The Robbie Ray career rollercoaster is hitting another high point this season, and the San Francisco Giants lefty enters tonight’s clash against the Cleveland Guardians with an 8-1 record and a 2.55 ERA. That points to a major bounce back after the challenges of the two prior years.
Ray is poised for another effective outing here. The Guardians are coming off a disappointing weekend sweep at the hands of the Seattle Mariners, scoring five runs across the three losses. Meanwhile, Ray has been a consistent strikeout threat, and he’s held star-hitter Jose Ramirez to a 1-for-10 record in their head-to-head battles.
I love the Over on 6.5 Ks tonight, and the veteran has gone past that number in five of his last six outings, headlined by a nine-punchout masterpiece against the San Diego Padres on June 5.
Ray has been particularly deadly at home, with a 2.00 ERA at Oracle Park, and his overall strikeout total of 92 is knocking on the door of the Top 10 in the big leagues.
