The Chicago Cubs will look to even their National League Central series with the Milwaukee Brewers  at American Family Field on Tuesday, July 29.

Milwaukee took the opener handily, and my top MLB picks and Cubs vs. Brewers predictions for tonight’s rematch are highlighted by Chicago star Kyle Tucker.

Cubs vs Brewers prediction

My Cubs vs Brewers best bet: Kyle Tucker Over 1.5 hits, runs, & RBI (-125 at DraftKings)

Chicago Cubs outfielder Kyle Tucker is beginning to kick a skid at the dish and has hit the Over in this market in consecutive games.

The four-time All-Star is still rolling along a 6-for-32 stretch with five runs and three RBI across his past 10 contests, so it’s encouraging to see the beginning stages of him kicking the slump. Plus, he’s also maintained an excellent .409 on-base percentage throughout.

We’re landing a fair number for Tucker because he draws a tough pitching matchup against Milwaukee Brewers righty Quinn Priester. The emerging hurler has spun an impressive 3.28 ERA, .120 WHIP and 3.63 xFIP across 101 2/3 innings, including allowing two earned runs or fewer in six of his past eight starts.

Still, considering Tucker sports a high-end .385 wOBA, .226 ISO and .907 OPS against righties this season, I’m anticipating him going Over the number in this market again tonight.

Cubs vs Brewers same-game parlay (SGP)

Cubs Over 4.5 runs

Kyle Tucker Over 1.5 hits, runs, & RBI

Christian Yelich Over 1.5 hits, runs, & RBI

The Cubs were able to put four runs on the board in the series opener and have scored four or more in each of their past seven games to average 4.86 per with a .312 wOBA and .127.

Chicago has scored 5.25 runs per game with a .332 wOBA and .187 ISO this season, so the Cubbies have found ways to score the past week without their best work at the dish.

Turning to Brewers outfielder Christian Yelich, he’s posted a solid .368 wOBA and .236 ISO against right-handed pitchers, and Cubs righty Colin Rea has surrendered a healthy .299 batting average and .384 wOBA to left-handed hitters.

Finally, this same-game parlay is priced at just +345 odds through DraftKings, so the +425 bet365 price presents a positive expected value of 18% in comparison.
