The Orlando Magic play their third straight road game on Monday when they travel to Chase Center to face the Golden State Warriors.

Each team came away with a narrow victory on Saturday, but Orlando’s roster will be heavily depleted once again.

My Magic vs Warriors predictions and NBA picks expect the home team to add a second straight win on Monday, December 22.

Magic vs Warriors prediction

Magic vs Warriors best bet: Warriors -4.5 (-110)

Both teams have played poorly against the spread this season, with the Orlando Magic sporting a 12-16 ATS record and the Golden State Warriors at 13-16, each going 3-7 ATS in their last 10.

The Warriors are 5-5 ATS as the home favorite, and the Magic are 3-3 ATS as the road underdog, but the advantage here goes to the home team.

The Magic will be without Franz and Mo Wagner, Jalen Suggs is doubtful, and Tristan da Silva is questionable. Orlando still has some great options available with the likes of Paolo Banchero, Anthony Black, and Desmond Bane, but missing the Wagners and Suggs will hurt.

Conversely, Golden State is back to nearly full strength, and I expect the Warriors to build on Saturday's hard-fought win over the Suns. Orlando eked out a victory over the lowly Jazz in their last one out, but they’ll face a much stiffer challenge in Golden State.

The feisty Magic may hang with the Warriors through the first three quarters, but I expect Golden State to pull away late and cover a modest spread.

Magic vs Warriors same-game parlay

The Magic are 16-12 to the Over, and the Warriors are 17-12. Orlando has hit the Over in four of six games as the road underdog, and Golden State has done so in six of 10 as the home favorite. The Magic have hit the Over in three straight, and the Warriors have done it in three of their last four.

Stephen Curry is averaging 28.3 points per game at home, and has scored at least 28 in 11 games, including six of nine at Chase Center. He finished with 34 points in his first matchup with Orlando this season, and he's scored at least 28 in six of his last eight.

Our "from downtown" SGP: Back in Black

Black has stepped up in a big way for the injury-plagued Magic, hitting the Over on this combo line in six of his last 10 and recording exactly 24 PRA in two more. Black has recorded at least 24 PRA in each of his last five road games and at least 25 PRA in four of them. With Franz Wagner out and Suggs doubtful, Black should remain in the starting lineup and see big minutes.
