I'm going with St.Louis tonight on Survivor and I'm gonna place on bet on them on Bodog. The Cardinals are hot and they have taken 4 out of 5 from Houston. The War continues tonight with the Yankees going with Freddy Garcia. He will have to come up big as we need to hold on to 1st place. Go Yankees! On BTS I'm going with Jose Bautista as I'm probably the hottest person not with a big streak on the site. 28 out of 33 picks right. But they don't pay for stop and starts do they At any rate I keep on pushing looking to catch that big train to DiMaggio land. GL 25 Dime Club! It's starting to heat up around here.

who do you guys like tonight? i made a stupid pick on the D backs for tonight for my 5th straight win on survivor. i feel its too risky but whatever i hope it plays out as a win.
Torigian- St.Louis is a safe play. They should win this game and it should go Over the number.

Seattle can't hit....you have to score to win the game. :)
You are most definitely correct about Seattle's lack of offense but lately especially since Franklin Gutierrez returned the bats have surprisingly heated up and thats with Ichiro in a rare slump. I posted the last time that Seattle has made it a point of focus to support King Felix more because as we all know historically they haven't done so. This year the support for Felix has improve drastically. Let's see if they can do it against Humber who I know nothing about but his numbers look decent.

I decided I wasn't going to do a write-up or even post tonight's pick, but what the hell. You guys have inspired me! Here goes: Tonight I am on the Blue Jays -119 (dialed in overnight) for Win 3. I would be a liar if I said I made this pick for any other reason than playing against Vin Mazzaro (0-0) and his flammable 22.74 ERA. Yeah, I know that Kyle Drabek (3-4) 4.69 ERA has struggled in his last three outings (esp. the last one), but Mazzaro has just been monumentally, historically terrible! The poor guy was so bad in his last outing, that he was immediately sent down to the minors before the post game press conference was over. When someone puts up bad numbers of the likes not seen since World War II, you tend to take notice. Vin Mazzaro also did something else that has not been done in this century or the last! On 5/16 Mazzaro gave up 14 runs to the Indians in just 2 1/3 innings of work! I remember this well, because I picked the Indians on Streak Survivor that night and witnessed the carnage. According to Baseball-Reference.com, this was the most earned runs given
up by a Major League relief pitcher since April 16, 1942, when Les
(Buster) McCrabb of the Philadelphia A's was banged for 14 in four
innings in a 19-4 loss to the Boston Red Sox. Yeah, that was during WWII! Also, according to SABR, the last pitcher to allow 14-plus runs in fewer than
three innings was Ed Doheny of the New York Giants on June 29, 1899.
Doheny was rocked for 17 runs in 2 2/3 innings. That was not even in the last century! I know that was just one game, but one has to wonder what lingering effects a dismal performance and demotion might have on a young pitcher. In Vin Mazzaro's only game against Toronto, he surrendered seven runs and 10 hits through five innings of a 7-2 loss. That was in 2009 when he was with Oakland. I will feel like a fool if I lose, but I like it! TORONTO BLUE JAYS -119 BOLA!

I agree 100%! I believe that the Mariner's offense will be fired up tonight, just like the last time King Felix was on the bump for them. He is their ace and they respect him enough to give everything they have to try to get him in the win column. Good pick, Raider! Win or lose I think it's the right side.

@ Raider: Thanks man! I'll keep posting the stat sheets. They are good as gold! I like your write-up on the CHI CINN oV9.5 and wish you luck with Seattle. I think they get it done for the King, tonight.

I think you're on the right side with Arizona, although I can see you concern. The Bucs have been playing well and have their ace on the bump. Still, I think the D'backs can rock him at PNC. It is a hitter's park if I am thinking right. GL!

Using that stuff, I went with Nelson Cruz and his nine game hitting streak to get me to W3 on BTS. He is 2 of 9 for only a .222 average against Sherzer, so tread lighty. I went with Chase Headley and his 15 game hitting streak to get me to W10 on BHS. I'm concerned because he has never faced Mortensen and I usually don't like to pick a player in his first appearance vs. the opponent's starter. Hopefully he gets a hit, tonight ! BOLA!
Nelson Cruz 2 for 4, Chase Headley 1 for 4Congratulations bama, keep it up!

The Cubs are in a complete meltdown as witnessed by what Zambrano is saying. One thing I like about Zambrano, he may be crazy but he gives you his absolute all. He told the world what's going in that clubhouse. A bunch of losers picking up paychecks. I say it's time to fade the Cubs big time. i smell a 100 game losing season in their future. I'm gonna starting fading them every chance I get on Bodog and here on Survivor if they put Cub games on here.

Congratulations Bama on your BTS success tonight. Keep it going and lets rock that leader board on MLB. Lets show them what the 25 Dime Club is all about.

Pujols brings me to 17 with a home run in the 8th! :) Tomorrow is a big day, almost a year ago I was at 17 and took Nick Swisher against supposedly Jeremy Guthrie. Around 12:15PM on June 10, 2010 I was reading the game preview of that Yankees vs. Orioles game on my phone. To my fear it announced that a then unfamiliar pitcher named Jake Arrietia was going to make his Major League Debut. It was a 12:30 lock day and I was far away from a computer. Swisher went on to be 0 for 3 with a Sac Fly (essentially 0 for 4) including hitting into a game ending ground out. Swisher has gone on to be 0 fer in all 4 games that he has been in that are started by Jake Arrieta at this point.

Yankees +112 I'm looking for my first W2 in 2 weeks. I agree kick their ass. It's payback time for what happened the last 2 months.
Red Sox 6, Yankees 4 I don't think I know what winning 2 in a row on survivor is like anymore, it's just something that can't be done. I thought for sure the Yankees would not lose 5 in a row and 6 out of 7 to the Red Sox but they proved me wrong. No matter how well or not the Yankees are playing they can't beat their blood enemies. When the Red Sox were 0-6 all that enabled the Yankees to do was take 1 out of 3 in that first series which was at Fenway Park. Since then they are 0-4, all 4 of those at home and should they get swept again I will have to avoid making side picks during rivalry games but unlike the Heat games it's okay to pick the total. Speaking of misery, tomorrow the Yankees have to face Josh Beckett tomorrow night for the 3rd time this season, the Yankees have not scored 1 freakin run when they saw Beckett twice before.

Hit with Boston yesterday against my beloved Yanks, today taking Toronto against K.C, seems too easy.. GL all
I don't even know how to pick the blood enemies it's hard enough to pick the Red Sox when they don't face the Yankees. I guess this shows that this maybe the worst season series in ?? years.

I'm taking the Bruins -116 over the Canucks today. After what happened in Game 3 with Aaron Rome (of the Canucks) knocking out Nathan Horton (of the Bruins), the Bruins should be out for more blood!
