A big reason why I like Seattle is this kid Wilson continues to impress me. He's actually more dangerous when the play breaks down and is forced into that backyard style football. To be honest, I can't remember seeing anyone as good at the improv plays since Farve, or maybe McNabb..... Romo in that list also, but he just chokes.
Also, this is not a road game.... Just bc it's not at home, doesn't mean it's on the road. It's a neutral field, so you are not fighting the oppositions crowd noise. Seattle defense won't be winded in mile high second half...
Seatles road record doesn't bother me.
They lost to Indy on a fast track in a dome, which does not play to their strengths, and that was a great game by the way, very close. Colts were playing well at that time. They had Reggie Wayne. Don't forget, Broncos lost their also.
The other 2 losses were div losses. One in SF which was real close, and the other was Zona's Super Bowl which they were due to lose at home.
The meadowlands field plays to the hawks strength. The weather conditions regardless of snow will slow down the broncos offense just enough where the Seattle DBS won't have to worry about the long ball.
The running game will not be stopped or abandoned. Lynch is gong to have a day win or lose. Denver has not faced a rushing attack this good since Maybe Philly early in the season. I put the Seattle rushing attack way ahead of KC due to their dominate offensive line.
Fgs. The New England defense had no answers last week, but for some reason, Denver had trouble getting in the end zone. They settled for 4 fgs.
For my last point, the most simplist.
Seattle has a better defense, better special teams, Denver has a better offense.
Special teams edge on kicking (Haushka has been perfect in bad weather). Returning (Baldwin over the rookie hill an who fumbles) and kick coverage (best in NFL history)
Here is my question the the group, (and yes I am a hypocrite after writing this novel)......
If the public is on Denver, why did the Seattle Moneyline drop from +120, to +115, and now down to +110?
Any ideas?
My guess is either weather or reverse line movement Vegas games lol. At +110 ill probably elect to take the 2 points. I might even by it up to 3, but we'll see.
