There's only 1 stat this year that is anything ranked near a top 3, and that's only is passing yards. This once prolific offense IS NOT the same as they have been in the last few years. Last year they were ranked #1 in overall yards and #3 in total points. LAST YEAR they were a top 3 offense. But dropping from #3 all they way down to #10 in total points is a significant drop.
Stats don't lie. It's all there in black and white. The Saints are not as good this year as they have been last year, the year before, and I believe the year before that they were ranked #1 overall offense in the league.
So like I said, the Seahawks have to prove they can beat the #1 offense of all time to say they beat someone worthy and that they actually are one of the best defenses.
A few hours until game time, we shall see who lights up who.

Beating the Chiefs at Arrowhead, weren't they 4-12 last year? Both teams 6-2 on the road. No home field advantage for either, but I would cite the weather and type of field are home cooking for Seattle. Those don't sound like adverse conditions for Seattle do they?

Wow 16 pages of posts! Read the first page and the last I'm sure I'm missing a lot of entertaining stuff but who has the time. It's the Superbowl so I guess I'll chime in for the h*ll of it. Two weeks off in a huge game could mean some first quarter rust and jitters. With Peyton's average performance in playoff games and Seattle's defense, especially against the short passing game I don't look for the Bronco's to roll up the score. On the other side of the ball you have a young offense that will probably be conservative in nature. Seattle has went under the last 7 gamers in a row and 8 out of the last 9. Denver has went under the last 5 in a row and the totals in both of their playoff games were in the low 40's. Hopefully no special team scores or turnovers for scores and I think this one goes under comfortably. Under 47. GLTA!
