Eff the Legion of Boom. Welker, DT, JT and Decker are going to bring home the trophy for Manning and I like that Denver has stepped up defensively in the playoffs. 

Outdoors..in the cold weather..probably 20 degree with some wind.. rust in the 1st quarter, defense controls 1st half, I'm liking the under. Only reason last Super Bowl was high scoring was on turf and indoors. I'm expecting a 26-20 Broncos victory.

If Denver comes into this game with no sacks on Peyton, no fumbles, an a few penitites  they are going to win this game hands down with the cover. Don't no the overs yet depends on the weather will see tho. An the only way Seattle will win this game if the same Ref. are calling the game they will win like in San fann   The 49ers had to beat the hawks and the ref to win an they came close to do so.

Peyton will have2 Super Bowl rings like his brother :) but I have a feeling this game will be high scoring and a fight to the end kind of game . Seattle plus the points for me. Denver will win but not cover.

Money always goes on offense, even though everyone says "defense wins championships.". 

Vegas opened line at SEA - 2 which tells you who they think is the better team.  Line swing to DEN - 2 was made to adjust to public.

Add to that the potential for bad weather and a defensive backfield unlike any Manning has had to face this season.

Give me SEA, but I'll prob wait and let the square bears (like pepa192) to drive up the spread.

Well, the thing is, Denver has a HUGE advantage at QB.  Regardless of Seattle's D, Denver wins this going away.  What's the over/under on number of intentional groundings by Wilson?...The guy's a pretender.  Load up now before that line moves even more.

Something to think about.  Everyone is talking about how good DEN is and DEN will win the superbowl.  No one is talking about NE.  NE went away from the run way tool early.  They were passing the ball in the 2nd Q.  DEN only scored 26 so the game was not out of reach. 

Now look at SEA. SEA was losing 10 - 0 but stayed with the run.  In the 1st Q the beast had negative yds but SEA stayed with the run.  In the 2nd Q the beast broke a long run for a TD and that was the beginning of the end for SF.  SEA running started to wear down SF and SEA kept pounding the rock.  SEA dominated the game in the 2nd half.  The SEA/SF game was very physical and SF did not hold up. 

The point is when Brady is the leading rusher something is wrong.  NE should have stayed with run just like SEA.  Look what SEA did to SF and SF is a very physical team.  SF could not stop the BEAST and you see how important the run is.  NE called themselves a power running until they met a little resistance.  NE is not a running team.  SEA is a power running team.

DEN scored only 26 against a mediocre team.  SEA is not a mediocre team.  SEA  made SF look mediocre as Sherman said.  SEA made Kapernick look mediocre.  Sherman made Crabtree look mediocre.  Just something to think about.

hat game were you watching???  Clearly you're a Seahawk fan and you're basing your "betting" off of your emotions and your love for your team.  Let me tell you right now that you're dead WRONG!  Manning is my QB and Denver has become my team because Indy didn't want him no more but I'm not stupid enough to use my love for a team or emotions dictate what I'll be betting.  

Last week I called it down to a "T" what would happen during the Denver/NE game and you can even verify my posts since you can't delete them.  I called what would happen better than anyone on that thread did.  Denver led the whole game because they took the early lead.  NE had to abandon the run and rely on Brady's arm.  They got within 10 points at the end and had a chance to cover the spread no matter when you took it.  But because this is Brady's worst year, I couldn't give a high percentage of having him win that game thus calling the best bet being the Denver ML.  No one even came close to what I predicted and I didn't just pull that out of thin air.  

I watched both games closely and you can't deny what is clearly on video and shown.  This is what I observed with Denver.  They became more balanced on the run game and it showed with the 100yd running game but they are still very pass heavy with 400yds totaling over 500.  Their defense throughout the playoffs has tightened up immensely becoming number 1 overall and number 2 in rush defense.  They shut out the best thing going for NE and that was their run game having to rely on Brady which sadly has lost a lot on offense.  Brady is great and he makes no name guys look great without a doubt.  But Denver has too much potent offensive talent, both in the passing and running game.  Overall this team has stepped up and clearly without a doubt proved they should be there.  No turn overs and pretty much as perfect a game you can get from any team, not because it's only "Denver".  This is what all teams aim for, good playing on all 3 sides of the ball.  

Now lets examine that shame of a game from Seattle/SF.  Play NUMBER 1, Wilson runs around and fumbles the ball in the red zone.  Thank God you guys have a damn defense and held SF to only a FG.  I watched Kapernick run all over your defense and if it wasn't for the many turnovers, they would've EASILY handed Seattle a loss at home.  I don't like either teams so this is an observation of the whole game.  I gotta admit, it was more exciting to watch at the end than the Denver game because of all the mistakes and the closeness that ensued.  But it was a typical boring beginning of 2 "defensive" minded teams.  

Ok so now that we know that Denver played nearly pefect game compared to the sloppy display that Seattle showed, I'll tell you why Denver hands Seattle a loss and I'm predicting it to be by at least 7 but in the event that I'm wrong, it'll be by no less than 3 which will cover the spread regardless.  That's why we're here right?  To make money, not to cheer for our team.  This is a sports betting site so let's fill it with useful betting information, not how much you love this or that and because of your emotions is why your team will win.  So leave that garbage at the door because I am.

Pretty interesting isn't it?  See how the NUMBER 1 all badass defense went from best to average when it comes to the 12 best teams this year?  That's why those teams, including them make it to the playoffs right?  So with those defense numbers now up, let's look at the other side.

What have we learned here?  Just because you're the best during the regular season, doesn't mean you're the best during the time it means the most.  Seattle ONLY barley edges out Denver in only 2 categories, Pass Defense and Rush Offense.  Other than that they're "mediocre" at best when it comes to the top 12 teams.  

Of course you're gonna bring a little somethin somethin to the table even from the regular season and overall experience and let's see what those things are because it will without a doubt be helpful to both teams.

Seattle - A very young, fast, and physical team.  But while being young, it also brings less experience.  NO ONE, including the head coach himself  has ever been to a Superbowl so they have no idea what the atmosphere will be like.  ALL NFL players that have made it to the Superbowl will tell you this ain't no regular everyday game and they won't be approaching it that way either.  Wilson helps bring the X-factor to the game with his ablity to run out of the pocket, but at the same time with his inexperience, it shows that he can make mistakes too.  Sadly he hasn't been as accurate as he was last year so hopefully this game won't have to rely on his arms and that they can utilize the beast Lynch.  Should Seattle find themselves down early and having the game get out of reach too quick, Pete Carroll won't be looking to the run game very often.

Denver - Denver undeniably has a load of talent of offense and with the addition of Manning, Welker, HC John Fox, they also bring more experience to this young corps of receivers.  More importantly they bring Superbowl experience.  They've been there and have won, so they can pass this knowledge onto their teammates.  With this knowledge they can be a little more poised and calm knowing how exciting this game can and always is.  The X-factor for the Broncos is Manning without a doubt.  Not only is he experienced, but he can turn that dial up a few notches like NO OTHER QB in history can.  Throughout the playoffs this team hasn't been the offensive juggernaut that it was all regular season.  But that's because they didn't have to be.  If you couldn't tell already, it hasn't been Denver's gameplan to just shoot it out with every team they met in the playoffs.  It's to control the football, eat the clock, and be balanced on all sides.  They have shown this in spite of all the doubts from the media, other teams, and just about everyone including myself.  I gotta admit I was scared that their defense would be the achillies heel to this team but boy was EVERYONE wrong!  

There's also one more thing that everyone should factor in.  West coast teams traveling to the east cost have a notoriously bad ATS record and going from one opposite side of the country to the other is as extreme as it gets.  While it doesn't affect every team every time, it's a good percentage of the time and we have to consider these possiblities.  Body clocks, jet lag, health conditions in possibly bad weather are all factors.  

Also you're an idiot if you believe that NE is a mediocre team.  I'd like to see your team stand up against NE.  They may not win every game against your team, but I can guarantee you that the Brady/Belichick combo will shred your and almost any team to pieces over 75% of the time. Their numbers don't lie so shut your mouth.  How many Superbowl rings does your QB, or team in general have?

I have a feeling Denver has a defense they're very proud of. I think they have some pretty good corners too..............last time I checked. This is a Jack Del Rio coached defense. I think they will be focused.

You didn't watch this game either did you?  NE tried to run the ball and got stuffed.  The "hot" Blount  only got 6 yards on 5 attempts.  Sadly when you get down by more than a touchdown, it's kinda hard to just "run" the ball on nearly every down.  At some point and time every coach KNOWS that you have to abandon the run knowing that you can't waste that precious time.  Manning and company held the ball for 10 minutes more than NE did overall and at one point it was double the amount of time.  It's called ball control.  Denver was able to move the ball up and down the field on NE so they tried to compensate by moving quicker, which usually means passing the ball more in a hurry up offensive scheme in order to catch up.

If you read the play by play, you can see that NE really only "abandoned" the run early in the 4th quarter when it was getting too late already to just continue the run.  At 12:02 left when they got the ball back, you hardly saw anymore running what so ever.  The deficit was much to large.  At that point it was 23-3.  You wanna run the ball at that time?  I don't think so.  They had run plays EVERY time they had the ball prior to that.  The only thing that stopped them was Denver's run defense.  

Looking at both NE's run game compared to Seattle, Seattle barely ran it more times than NE did.  Seattle had a little more success than NE than in terms of total yards.  Also a majority of Lynch's run was on ONE long 40 yard TD run.  You think that happens all the time?  How many times do you think that normally happens in a game. Sure he's gonna break one here and there but don't be holding your breath.   Other than that he only had 69 yards if that was taken away.  

Also Lynch wasn't a "beast" in that SF game.  He had a good game of a little over 100 yards but it's a far cry from his "beastmode" games.  Surprisingly Kaepernick had over 100 yards himself and he's the damn QB.  Now that's "beast" if you wanna compare positions.  


So get your facts straight before presenting a rage about why your team is gonna win this or that, and how disrespected they are gonna be getting, and so on and so forth.

While this may be true a majority of the time, I believe that there are exceptions to this rule.  If I recall, the 2006 Indianapolis Colts beat the Chicago bears with a score of 29-17.  

I'll post a little quote for you:

Guess who was at the helm of the ship for the Colts that year?  Surprise surprise, the guy who lives and thrives to pick apart defenses.  Wanna know something even more surprising?  Manning's team this year is much better than his 2006 team.

"Hard to be humble when you're the finest" kind of mentality Xyberz lends me to believe you're severely insecure and a borderline paranoid schizophrenic. Might also have some narcissistic  and grandiose tendencies as well. But, on the bright side, if you do win, you tend to kick the dog less often and (if you're married) you're wife will keep the one good eye she has left. Take Seattle.  Denver's defense is not going cause any problems for Seattle offense especially a mobile QB like Wilson and a thrashing RB like Lynch.  Manning will throw more picks than TD's.  This game will not be close.  Seattle 31 Denver (16 & under)
