In the last 3 regular seasons, Colts have lost only 2 games in the RCA dome, and these were in 05' and 04'. They were undefeated last year at home.
those are mighty fine numbers when you're talking SU wins
2006 - Indy @ home went 5 - 3 ATS
2005 - Indy @ home went 3 - 5 ATS
2004 - Indy @ home went 5 - 3 ATS
last 3 seasons at home - Indy is 22 - 2 SU and 13 - 11 ATS
i'll be taking NO plus the points

The saints do not have enough D to stay in this game. The Colts pass rush and overall speed on D will cause enough problems to disrupt the Saints offense. The Saints were one or two breaks from being 8-8 last year in one of the worse divisions that I can remember. Good luck everyone on their picks...but if you think public money is going Indy...I think you are wrong....I've seen the line open at 6.5 and move down to 5.5 in places.

DrJ- Don't mean to argue but the over has hit their last 4 meetings. The Saints are FAR superior than previous years. The over seems like the right move.
I'd ignore the previous 3gms and focus on last seasons game that only went 41. THe line is set at what 52? Think either team improved or will make up the 9pt difference?

To be clear, Bill Polian will not be asked to cover Henderson, Bush, Meachem, or Colston on the nine routes...he will not be a rookie left tackle facing a top-caliber outside speed rusher...he will have as much impact during the game as you and I..he will be sitting in the press box watching the game...
You posted your opinions...which is fine by me but not very helpful in analyzing and evaluating personnel, match-ups, and X's and 0's......the fact is you didn't explain how the the Cover 2 system the Colts defense employ will protect the middle of the field (neither did blueglass)...or if you feel they will allow the speed demons on NO offense to simply run past them all...football is a game of match-ups and mismatches..not a game based on opinions, speculation and guesswork...personally, I value thoughtful analysis based on actual facts...
I don't mind being challenged or fact checked...in fact, I rather enjoy it...but had you done your homework you would have known the Saints went 4-2 against playoff teams last year (including the playoffs)...
New Orleans may get run off the field...but the type of team they have is one that could conceivably give Indy fits...and I will take as many points as I can get and hold my breath for sixty minutes because I certainly realize the Colts could win big...I would never make a statement that a team will not make the playoffs in September because I have actual NFL experience and there are no guarantees... and last year simply does not count...
Good luck on your plays!![]()
