Dude....where have you been lately?  NFL...hmmm Let me break it down for you:

KC+3/SF = 71% of public  was on San Fran - KC wins in a rout!

Tenn+3/GMen = 50/50 pretty much..Tenn Wins in a landslide.

ATL +3/NO = 70% of public on NO...ATL wins striaght up

STL+4/Skins = 84% of public on Skins...STL wins in a rout.

Seahawks+3.5/Chargers = 75% of public on Chargers..SEA wins!

NYJ+1/FINS = Approx 60% of Public  on FINS....Jets win....

You see....what seems to be a "no brainer" usually isnt....and the above is just the NFL in Week 3.....

WIth the public  going to the "Favored" team....line was either holding, or moving in the opposite direction....Just like tonight....

If I am wrong....so be it....but.....there are far too many "underdogs" covering/winning outright.....Sure....common scense is usually a good bar to look at a game at first glance...but wait until gametime....and take a look where the public is putting their money.....if the lines are not moving or actually reversing....then you need to take another look as to why that is happening.....

Just my thoughts.....whether you agree or dont......It works for me....

Just ask any SMU backers this past Friday.....TCU was going to "murder" SMU....Guess who covered?  SMU.    One more...BAMA/ARKANSAS.....BAMA (common scense would tell you) that they should easily cover......WRONG.....Razorbacks covered...and almost won....

Oh yeah....in both cases above.....Line was not moving, or moving the wrong way.....with the MAJORITY of the public was on the favorites.....
