Did you have the same post in 2023 when the national average was $3.52?
What about 2022 when the national average was $3.95 with a high of over $5.00 in June?
Were those HIGHER prices Trumps fault too? TDS is real.

Diesel prices are climbing even faster than gas prices!!
![]()
C.Isidore -
American drivers notice soaring gas prices.
But another fuel – diesel – is also on the rise, and at a much faster pace.![]()
Much of the world’s economy – from consumer goods to the food you eat – gets to you thanks to diesel.
Since the fighting started in Iran a week ago, gasoline prices are up 16%, according to Sunday’s AAA reading.
But that’s nothing compared to the 84 cent increase, or 22% rise in diesel prices, taking a gallon of that critical fuel to $4.60.

And it's quite ironic considering Biden declared war on fossil fuels which includes "" American Companies"" .. The Democrat party Truly does hate America. Trump has declared war on an enemy that has sought harm to America and Western Civilization.
It's really profound when we talk about it in these terms...

Oil industry experienced record profits and production under Biden administration. Nearly all countries signed Paris accord to fight threat of global warming. International transition to renewable energy is important because of scientific consensus that current global warming is caused by burning of fossil fuels. However Trump war against Iran is illegal and unnecessary because of lack of evidence of imminent threat. Trump reasons are nonsense.

. . . and likely to climb further.....BECAUSE of trump - the dumbphuck, racist-asshole who was voted into office on HIS PROMISE to bring down costs to the majority of American voters...and soon, he said back then!

Of course DIESEL fuel is rising as well, and THAT will increase the cost of goods...

@Rush51
This is no further from the truth. Non-oil based energy resources make anyone LESS reliable on petro/oil and the whipsaw price action means much less. My solar array yesterday produced 62kwh and today should be the same. In the last ten years I have paid probably 5% in electricity costs compared to my neighbors and my array has no signs of degrading or reduction. Some renewables are more prone to higher costs than others but to blanket say what you have multiple times is just a joke. Instead of spending 1B a day for Netty and Israel why not make a program for residential solar and give people jobs in the process let alone shore up the healthcare mess Trump created. Priorities that your party have is completely wrong and the last two weeks are a testament to that fact. And yes I said that word on purpose.

Thank you for sharing your selfish, isolated example on how you've benefited from renewable energy. Shall we pull the lens back a bit ??? Let's take a look at California, which is what I was eluding to earlier. The state that pisses on fossil fuels, chasing away any remaining refineries, and pretending like renewable are a ""DEPENDABLE" source of energy, and all the while holding its citizens to brown outs when the electricity grid gets strained in the summertime. What are we ? Some kind of 3rd world country ? .... This tells you all you need to know about the idiocy that is taking place in this state.
But thank you for sharing your personal experience on solar panels in AZ... And don't forget to send your thank you letters to all the other U.S. citizen taxpayers that subsidized your solar panels, including all the other members here on Covers... Make sense ?

How do you know I had subsidies? Are solar subsidies some awful burden on the taxpayer but oil subsidies, corn, soy, dairy, carbon credits etc etc are wonderful?
What exactly is wrong with taking stress off the grid with residential solar? Do you know a thing about it at all or are you just pulling the stupid libs suck routine again? Many states, many countries gain great value from residential solar and to be honest Arizona does almost NOTHING to forward or motivate citizens to install solar and you want to know why? Down here the idiots are more concerned with having Kirk license plates and naming a freeway after the lunatic and the GOP controls the corporate commission so the utilities do ZERO to pursue residential solar because it TAKES THEIR PROFITS. So the state that is in the top 5 for benefits of solar does almost the least because the utilities do not want citizens to take their profits.
When people install residential solar it takes strain off the grid because when I have excess production it is grid tied and goes to the closest need and does not require long haul grid use and since AZ is a net demand state they have to buy from California and long haul supply to cities here. If more citizens had solar the state would AND SHOULD be energy independent and not need to pull from Caif.
I did all the research and purchase of my panels and inverters and I hired the electrician and processed the paperwork with the utility so spare me the attitude, I know more about solar than most solar salespeople do and what exactly is wrong with residential solar?
Instead of paying for Israels zionist conquests we could do so much more good to help people kicked off healthcare, stupid DOGE cuts and yeah the renewable energy credits got wacked from Trump too but HEY.....100 buck oil is great that is what Trump said, we make SO MUCH MONEY. What a lunatic.

Over 80% of blackouts are caused by extreme weather which is worsened by global warming. High demand for electricity and damage to power lines are common causes. Cheap solar and wind energy help to supplement power grid and reduce risk of blackouts. Since prices of oil and natural gas are commodities affected by international markets, countries need to invest more in renewable energy to achieve energy independence.

Mix of wind and solar combined with battery storage can achieve 83-94% reliability. Worldwide, wind and solar are the fastest growing energy sources.

For years, Trump complained that high prices are bad for US economy. Now suddenly, he says high oil prices are great. Although oil companies profit, high prices are generally bad for US economy. Reducing consumer spending and economic growth.

PPI prices came in hot which is why the markets are down today and of course this Iran thing doesnt help either. I thought all our inflation issues were going to be eliminated on day 1 last year? Not sure how that went wrong.

Trump promise made, Trump promise broken. We suffer for his lie.
Cars, rents/housing, groceries, air travel, taxi fares, fuel, electricity all up, yet Trump promised all America he would bring them all down from where they were when Biden left office. That's what America gets when voting for a convicted felon.
