US military followed Trump illegal order to invade Venezuela. Capturing president and wife. Most Americans oppose presidential use of military abroad without congress approval according to survey by Institute for global affairs. Also they see Trump foreign policy as reckless and making things worse. His national security strategy is a return to imperialism. Historically, forced regime changes risk unintended consequences. Those who don't learn from history are forced to repeat it.

I just knew it.
I knew I would wake up some morning & that POS would have us in a new war. He has shown no proof that these attacks on fishing boats were due to drugs coming from Venezuela,

Why are you not fuming? Is this proper action that was approved from congress and does not put security of the country and our citizens at risk?
If you do approve what is the rationalization in your mind for doing this? Isnt the UN supposed to make decisions like this and not the US alone?

Trump claim that Venezuela stole oil from US companies is baseless. Actually, companies never owned oil or land and were never kicked out. Chevron still operates in Venezuela and courts awarded compensations for companies affected by nationalization. But US sanctions made it impossible for Venezuela to pay companies.

1: I believe Trump was right, congress would have leaked it and American soldiers would have died.
Second, as posted above same thing with Noriega, nothing Trump did was illegal. (Unless you put it in a New York court then anything Trump does is illegal)
Third, it appears our CIA has a strong presence in Venezuela. Knowing where and when to find drug running boats, knowing the docks they use, and now, knowing exactly where Maduro was, how to get him, and how to get out. So I have to believe the CIA knows far more and this decision was deemed necessary. And I believe our CIA and military convinced Trump to carry it out. Not Trump telling them to do it as Trump haters and even Trump lovers would believe.

Oh I think the Noriega decision as it went down was very bad as I feel the Saddam decision was and the CIA Bush lie for the Gulf War was, so many bad decisions and while the GOP seems to forward these more often both parties are responsible.
The US has no valid right or reason for what just happened and what about the war criminal Netty, when is Trump going to arrest him for the MILLIONS of lives lost based on his actions?
