Well it is easy for you to say that we need NATO and you don’t - if your point is you are the biggest military then you are right - but factually - you are still the only country ever to have asked NATO for help rather you like it or not (and Finland alone has a bigger military than Russia - so I think we can handle them and we are more than 6 times their population and we also have nuclears)

Finland almost won the “Winter war” - and that was basically just civilians fighting - they have trained for that event repeating since then - so active military soldiers - Finland is stronger than Russia - but Russia is of course a nation of 100 million people and Finland only having 5 million - so 1v1 Russia would win if they mobilised every citizen - but if you take that into account the rest of Europe (most of Russia is part of Europe) has around 650 million people

Denmark’s Parliament handed the United States unprecedented military authority on Danish soil. With a decisive 94-11 vote, Danish lawmakers essentially carved out pieces of their own country where American soldiers will have more power than Danish authorities, creating a constitutional and sovereignty crisis that most citizens probably don’t fully understand yet.
This isn’t just another routine defense agreement between NATO allies. This is Denmark allowing foreign military personnel to exercise police powers over Danish civilians, operate under completely different legal systems, and maintain areas where Danish authorities cannot exercise full control. American soldiers stationed at Danish airbases in Karup, Skrydstrup, and Aalborg will now have the authority to exercise military police powers not just on their bases, but in surrounding areas and over Danish civilians who come into contact with them.
If an American soldier commits a crime in Denmark, they’ll be prosecuted under the American legal system rather than Danish law. This creates a two-tier justice system where foreign military personnel operate under completely different rules than Danish citizens, potentially including different standards for what constitutes acceptable behavior or appropriate punishment.
The agreement also grants American forces the right to conduct military activities throughout Denmark, including stationing personnel wherever they choose, storing military equipment and materials, and conducting training and exercise activities. This goes far beyond traditional base agreements and essentially gives the United States broad operational freedom throughout Danish territory.

And it was you that said “donated” right before you came with the numbers and then I asked what country was they donating to - you don’t donate to “NATO” so I don’t see the connection between your numbers and what we are discussing - at this point I don’t even know what your point is anymore :( - you contribute to NATO depending on your BNP if that is what you trying to say - so of course you pay the most as you have the biggest BNP as well - and most of the money is also used in your industry - so your government is basically just redistributing money within your industry rather than spending money like the rest of us do
