You can correct me and answer the obvious questions. I am not convinced by one persons opinion when the reasons are not explained. This is another Iraq repeat where a reason is manufactured and crafted that does not exist. I have not yet seen a GOP member including you just come out and admit that we did this for Israel and that there is no immediate or direct threat to warrant a bombing of another country by our military.
If I wanted to read an apologist for Trump Ive already seen that, no need for your partisan copy and paste validation, the same bad logic is being used in spades here already.

Because that's not true, as a whole.
To say that is to suggest that Isreal isn't or wasn't capable of doing it themselves either at the sites or via the head of the snake. Based on the beeper operation, the in country drone operation, and their air superiority, I believe they were capable.
Now, did they have 14 bunker busters? No they did not.
A military operation like this will have many reasons versus doing it for Isreal.
1) Isreal doesn't play. Shoot missiles from Gaza and they're coming in force. So, left to them they'd have killed Iranian leadership and then you'd have a different Iraq situation meaning = American Intervention helps more than Isreal.
2) Iran has a long history or causing trouble and getting away with it and/or rewarded. So this administration demonstrated a willingness of action.
3) We've have munitions that have not been battle tested, now they are.
4) Other nations do not have those munitions (China / Russia / North Korea) and this operation gave them something to think about.
5) We've learned something about our capabilities to act with 36 hour mission time and hundred of support vehicles. This could come in hand should China or Russia advance their ambitions.
So while it's easy to point to Trump as Bibi's lap dog and take a cheap swipe at the GOP members, it's not that black and white. Even still, you still just had one come out and say it.....but im an independent not a GOP. Kind of like Cuomo.

Nah they needed US to be the front man because if it was Israel alone there would be massive regional backlash and Israel knows this. I think Trump IS doing the bidding of Israel and that is the only reason this went down.

Who knows, we don't have the intelligence that Isreal or the US Govt has.
Isreal has historically be pretty capable on the intelligence front. My read, Iran was getting too close for comfort.
As for US involvement, more opportunistic than anything. Iran may not have presented a real military threat, but clearly on the back foot.
So again, for me the correlation is that Iran was close but no one with our clearance knows.

Lets break it down even more to a simple level, Bibi in control= Israel military aggressive offensively, Bibi not in power= Israel the opposite.
Bibi was mired in suspicion of corruption and law/rule breaking from 2017 to 2020 and only returned to his position in 2022, so Trump's first romp was without Bibi running rampant as is his historic approach.
Israel knew that Biden would not openly allow and support and join a military offensive in the same way a GOP leader would so shockingly Israel began their military actions to extremes when it was decided Trump would be in office.
If the lies Trump is pushing were true he would have done something WITHOUT Israel while Bibi was out of the position dealing with his corruption and law breaking trials.
I don't disagree.
Its like Putin took Crimea under Obama and didn't do much under Trump. Then restarted again under Biden.
But if your thesis was fully accurate and Bibi was bent in war, it'd likely have kicked off in January. I imagine they have plans on the books and wouldn't need 5 months.
I also think he'd have shown less restraint both here and in Gaza, but Trump supplied the temper.

Maybe because they were attacked by groups backed by Iran? Iran had another 4 years under Biden to do as they pleased, & as they have been shouting "death to Israel!" & "death to America!" for decades, one must ask "if not now, when?".

To me Gaza was the opportunity he needed to begin the regional military assault and that is exactly what he did. He knew Biden would not risk backlash during the election and same goes for the DNC in general so Israel turned up the heat knowing the US would say/do nothing and that is EXACTLY what happened, the rest is following the GOP military is good pattern and here we are.

This would sort of imply that the issue is recent and that is no further from the truth, Iran=Persia=non Israeli and as we have discussed they have been enemies for thousands of years, this conflict has been played over and over since Moses, its the same thing. To Israel you are either on their side or they are going to wipe you off the earth and that is what they have prophesied and enacted as a unit of tribes, the same is how they are especially to those who are Orthodox and not progressive.
It is smart of Bibi to PLAY Trump like a fool because without the US being their backstop it is my opinion their people would have been destroyed several times over long long ago. We are their biggest ally and the big brother that nobody wants to engage and Bibi uses this to forward his regional attack on all their enemies, it started with the small seed of Gaza and has turned into hundreds of thousands of deaths..quite pathetic that we allow it and support it.

Obviously a deal was struck. Get the uranium out and we bomb your centrifuges, in return the US forces Israel to stand down and you and yuor regime remain in power. For Israel, we (US) take out the centrifuges and you stand down. Otherwise Israel would still be killing Iranian leaders.
