In a bold show of force, U.S. jets flattened Iran's key nuclear sites overnight — delivering a crippling blow to Tehran's atomic ambitions and sending a clear message: the West will not tolerate nuclear terror.

American forces carried out a large-scale airstrike targeting three of Iran's most guarded nuclear facilities: Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan.............and obliterated them..

When Iran's supreme leader went underground and refused to negotiate at all you knew it had to be done.

And what the hell was China delivering by jet to Iran?

Myth is that Trump is anti-war.  In first term, adults in the room restrained him from implementing his worst impulses.  However problem is that reckless Trump is less restrained in second term.  He offers no good rationale for dragging US into Israel war against Iran without congress approval.  If there was a vote, some republicans probably join democrats in opposing US attack.  US intelligence, International atomic energy agency and other countries dispute claim that Iran is on the verge of acquiring a nuclear weapon.  Consensus of experts is that unprovoked US strike against Iran would be a mistake.    Now delusional Trump claims peace with Iran would come while threatening more US strikes.  But history shows violence often lead to more violence.  A long war of attrition and no peace agreement might be possible consequences.  Also more countries may be motivated to acquire nuclear weapons for self defense.  That could increase risk of nuclear war in the future.

    SECRETARY-GENERAL ANTONIO GUTERRES:
"This is a dangerous escalation in a region already on the edge – and a direct threat to international peace and security. There is a growing risk that this conflict could rapidly get out of control – with catastrophic consequences for civilians, the region, and the world. I call on Member States to de-escalate and to uphold their obligations under the UN Charter and other rules of international law."
UNITED ARAB EMIRATES FOREIGN MINISTRY, TO STATE NEWS AGENCY:
"The United Arab Emirates expressed its deep concern over the ongoing tension in the region and the targeting of Iranian nuclear facilities. It called for an immediate end to the escalation to avoid dangerous repercussions and a slide into new levels of instability."
"The (Foreign) Ministry urges the United Nations and the Security Council to assume their responsibilities by working diligently to resolve chronic issues in the region, which are now at stake and pose a growing threat to regional and international security and stability."
    QATARI FOREIGN MINISTRY, ON X:
"The State of Qatar regrets the deterioration of the situation following the bombing of Iranian nuclear facilities and is following with great concern the developments following the recent attacks on the sisterly Islamic Republic of Iran, targeting its nuclear facilities."
"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs warns that the dangerous tension currently witnessed in the region will lead to catastrophic repercussions at the regional and international levels."
JAPANESE PRIME MINISTER SHIGERU ISHIBA, TO REPORTERS:
"It is crucial that there be a quick de-escalation of the conflict. We are closely monitoring the situation there with grave concern."
ITALIAN FOREIGN MINISTER ANTONIO TAJANI, ON STATE BROADCASTER RAI:
"Now we hope that, after this attack, which caused massive damage to nuclear weapons production and posed a threat to the entire region, a de-escalation can begin and Iran can sit down at the negotiating table."
NEW ZEALAND FOREIGN MINISTER WINSTON PETERS:
"We acknowledge developments in the last 24 hours, including President Trump's announcement of U.S. strikes on nuclear facilities in Iran. Ongoing military action in the Middle East is extremely worrying, and it is critical further escalation is avoided. New Zealand strongly supports efforts towards diplomacy. We urge all parties to return to talks. Diplomacy will deliver a more enduring resolution than further military action."
    AUSTRALIAN GOVERNMENT SPOKESPERSON, STATEMENT:
"We have been clear that Iran's nuclear and ballistic missile program has been a threat to international peace and security. We note the U.S. President's statement that now is the time for peace. The security situation in the region is highly volatile. We continue to call for de-escalation, dialogue and diplomacy."
    MEXICAN FOREIGN MINISTRY, ON X:
"The ministry urgently calls for diplomatic dialogue for peace between the parties involved in the Middle East conflict. In keeping with our constitutional principles of foreign policy and our country's pacifist conviction, we reiterate our call to de-escalate tensions in the region."
VENEZUELAN FOREIGN MINISTER YVAN GIL, ON TELEGRAM:
"Venezuela condemns U.S. military aggression against Iran and demands an immediate cessation of hostilities. The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela firmly and categorically condemns the bombing carried out by the United States military," against nuclear facilities in Iran.
CUBAN PRESIDENT MIGUEL DIAZ-CANEL, ON X:
"We strongly condemn the US bombing of Iran's nuclear facilities, which constitutes a dangerous escalation of the conflict in the Middle East. The aggression seriously violates the UN Charter and international law and plunges humanity into a crisis with irreversible consequences."

Being a hypocrite in chief is wonderful for Trump.

We allowed Israel under the guise of a single event to exercise a regional military offensive and did nothing about it, in fact we funded it and stood by while it happened. Israel is in no place to dictate what Iran does, what Syria does or what Hamas does given that they are a member of a collective meant to work together in these types of matters.

I guess Trump didnt mean it when he abused other leaders in his position who did LESSER things and then he claimed he would never do such or that it would not have come to that level if he were in charge. Fast forward and within less than six months he has done more military damage and reckless abandon than any POTUS since that idiot George Bush II

What matters is whether Russia views this as act of aggression and whether they honor the treaty with Iran.

Right now the statement from Kremlin is Iran has the right to produce and use nuclear power domestically for peaceful purposes.

This is what the little man in Moscow states.... Putin all 4'11" of the human said....

So does Russia join Iran in declaring war on US and Israel... That need to be decided. Pentagon is basically on stand by for world war 3.

Russia hasn't declared war that good news

    ..official statement moscow.

Russia resolutely condemns the United States’ strikes on several nuclear facilities in the Islamic Republic of Iran, carried out in the early hours of June 22, following recent attacks by Israel.

This reckless decision to launch missile and aerial strikes on the territory of a sovereign state, regardless of the justifications offered, constitutes a blatant violation of international law, the UN Charter, and relevant resolutions by the UN Security Council, which has consistently and unequivocally deemed such actions unacceptable. Particularly concerning is the fact that the strikes were executed by a permanent member of the UN Security Council.

The consequences of this action, including potential radioactive effects, have yet to be determined. However, it is already evident that a dangerous escalation is underway, one that threatens to further destabilise security both in the region and globally. This has drastically increased the likelihood of a larger conflict in the Middle East, a region already plagued by numerous crises.

The attacks on Iranian nuclear facilities have dealt a substantial blow to the global non-proliferation regime built around the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT), which raises particular concerns. They have significantly undermined both the credibility of the NPT and the integrity of the International Atomic Energy Agency’s (IAEA) monitoring and verification mechanisms that underpin it.

We expect the IAEA leadership to respond promptly, professionally, and transparently, avoiding vague language or efforts to hide behind political ‘equidistance.’ An unbiased and objective report from the Director General is required, to be submitted for consideration at the Agency’s upcoming special session.

Obviously, the UN Security Council must take a firm stance as well. Confrontational and destabilising actions taken by the United States and Israel must be collectively rejected.

We call for an immediate end to aggression and for stepping up efforts to bring the situation back onto a peaceful, diplomatic track.

Wrong..stop giving Trump a pass while attacking the other side for doing LESS than your dood is doing and saying.

If you live by your words then you have to die with your words. He is a hypocrite and a toxic fascist clown. Until your side stops bowing down and ignoring his lies and abuses then there will never be accountability or responsibility.

He was in the position, he got lucky and yet it did not stop him after from attacking, belittling and abusing Biden/Obama and any LIB, when you claim to take a position and then you fail and are WORSE than those you belittled this makes you a hypocrite period.

Stop the blind partisan following and start holding any leader accountable and responsible for their words and actions.

Trump has lapped Biden with his war mongering and hypocrisy many times over, the problem with your thesis is that Biden while Trump was in office was not attacking him through social media and making claims against the other side.

Biden was far far more transparent and respectful and collaborative than Trump ever has been and that vid clip I posted from Obama is the exact opposite of your fascist abuser, the one you blindly support and deflect with really weak Biden retorts.

Thats the best you got? Trump has run scorched earth for 10 years and you come back with Biden not being transparent?

I can't remember a time during my adult life when our country hasn't been involved in a war. Innocent people will die as they always do during war.

Our Pentagon is a mess. Hegseth & Gabbard have been kicked to the curb which is probably a good idea. Doofus Donnie doesn't believe his own intelligence & makes decisions based on his instincts which are horrible & with his gut which is filled with hamberers, Diet Coke & other crap. He shrunk the National Security Council by more than half & lacks experienced advisors. So who is listening to other than the voices in his head?

This is a mirror image of George Tenet telling George Mission Accomplished Bush that WMDs were a "slam dunk." Since 1996, Bibi has been ringing the fire alarm about Iran having a nuke & he finally found an American puppet to believe him. Whatever allies we still have left are wondering what the fuck is going on in our country.

This is far from over. When the dust clears, i won't be surprised to learn we damaged & not "destroyed" Iran's nuclear facilities. You can't believe a word coming out of the Lyin King's mouth or the mouths of his flunkies.

Do you remember when Obama delivered billions of USD on pallets to the Ayatollah on a tarmac in Tehran so they could finish making the bomb? President Trump might just have totally nullified that shameful transaction by our 1st half white President! MAGA!

It's. Clerics response he. Chose 3 clerics to replace him in the event of his untimely demise which is laughable because the cleric believes he is here as long as Allah allows....

Trump invoking God. And words like spectacular when dealing death to cities.... Is an abomination.
