American civil liberty union warns of Trump threat to invoke insurrection act. Military occupation of Minneapolis would be unnecessary, inflammatory and a dangerous abuse of power against lawful protests. In multiple cities, he continues to instill fear and chaos that his administration created by releasing lawless ICE agents to terrorize communities according to Institute for study of modern authoritarianism.

@wallstreetcappers I am not interested in your arm chair partisan commentary, you have no standing to challenge what my friend who is an armed officer with twenty years of service and multiple examples of similar circumstances and WITH extensive training. You have absolutely no idea what you are talking about and no background or experience at this where he does. I am not challenging it. I am simply pointing out we all get trained this way and it is common sense.
Who is WE and what training are WE all getting that is common sense?
You have a guy who has served in the office of being a sheriff and has direct engagement with society in this fashion, his department has protocol and rules of engagement. He has taken training for proper handling of instances like this across the country and is responsible for training those he works with. His views are what is taught and what is protocol for people actually involved with this exact type of situation where these ICE weekend warriors are not. I saw an interview of an ICE supervisor who was asked if there is protocol about engaging with a moving vehicle and his response is that there is no training or protocol because that is not their responsibility and they are NOT to engage with a moving vehicle. So what EXACT training are you referencing here or are you just passing by because you cannot defend your agenda?

Absurd for justice department to investigate Minnesota governor and Minneapolis mayor with no investigation of ICE agent who shot Renee Good. Apparent weaponization of justice department against political enemies. Some top prosecutors have resigned.

Democrat Van Hollen warns that ICE agents are breaking the law and not protesters. 80% of the people arrested pose no threat to public safety. Recently, a judge orders ICE to not interfere with peaceful protests. Also states must introduce laws to protect constitutional rights of people against ICE. Minneapolis police chief blames ICE for harming the good reputation of local police.

Five white male software engineers were quiety having lunch in Minneapolis. Unknown to them someone posted on anti-ICE Signal Chat that they were undercover ICE agents.
"Next thing we know people are yelling, " we hope you die!" and calling us pedophiles."
The men tell the protesters they are just software engineers having lunch but the mob doesn't believe them. The mob starts blowing whistles and yells "GET THE FUCK OUT!!!"
Then one woman says; "Would you support us?" And one guy replies; "The way your acting? And I don't support ICE either."
The woman responds; "If your not with us then you're against us."
The mob ringleader then says; "They deserve it because they are White Privilege Males."

Time for Trump to bring Law & Order back to the streets of MN. The leaders(?) of MN unwilling to do it themselves. The " real" peaceful people of the public deserve it. The rest need to be put in handcuffs.

The Obama administration deported more than 2.7 million people between fiscal years 2009 and 2016, a higher number than any other president in U.S. history at that time. Due to these record-high numbers, especially during his first term, immigration advocates and activists labeled him the "Deporter in Chief".
Biden's total of nearly 4.4 million repatriations surpassed the single-term totals of every president since George W. Bush. By the end of his term in January 2025, some estimates placed this figure as high as 4.68 million
But now because Trump is continuing, you actually have an idea of what's been happening for decades. It just took Trump in office for the media to say anything. You act like you care, but you really don't. You just want to bash Trump because that's what your overloads conditioned you to do.

@BigGame90 It doesnt matter if your entire thesis is 100% correct, it does not matter that two people acted out for whatever their reasons were, that is not the measure of expectation of behavior for people in this position. You could be totally right and still your conclusion is totally wrong. There is no reason you shoot someone given all the scenarios we have and all the fake ones I made up. Nobody is cheering for the loss of life either, that is so absurd and obtuse it just shows how partisan this society is. People are angry and shocked and are protesting as they should. An armed individual especially one which is forcing their jaded agenda on the general public has to be held to a HIGHER, the HIGHEST standard possible. There is no excuse or rationalization.
First of all, I never said it was right to shoot anyone, did I? No. I did not. I have not tried to justify the shooting. I am working backwards to see why everyone was put in the situation. If you want to go back further, we can pull up tons of evidence that would support aggression towards any LE. Do you remember RESIST? There's a start. Telling people to resist authority. Smart, right? Neither of us are LE so we do not know for certain how much pressure there is when LE are on duty. I would imagine tensions are at all time highs. Why do you think that is, assuming the statement is correct? Who has been giving the most push back towards LE? You can answer that by starting with the city leaders.
You like to divide people by parties. Nobody on the right is cheering this. I am only questioning HOW we got to this specific situation.

Have you ever been hit by a car ? You don’t die - you are hardly hurt if it hits you at 2 miles an hour - give me 100 bucks and I will stand infront of a parked car and you can hit me directly with the highest speed you can get that sucker to accelerate to ! and there are two ways people can react in dangerous situations - and ONLY two - you can fight or you can run (you can forget that comply bullshit - because these people beat you up for no reason whatsoever) !! Therefore you don’t plant your fat ass infront of a car if you are putting someone in a dangerous situation - if these guys had received any kind of training they would know that
You do realize that the car could have easily compressed one of the officers tools against this body that could have caused internal damage, right? It doesn't take a large impact to cause bodily damage, especially his cuffs, flashlight etc was hit.
I'd like to see you try to doge a car on ice and then try to peacefully detain someone that's not complying. You're a Monday morning QB and keyboard warrior.

To de-escalate tensions, federal judge orders ICE agents to stop retaliating against peaceful protesters and legal observers in Minneapolis.
Just for future reference, what do you call someone in the street, blocking traffic? Are they considered peaceful? Would be nice to finally get a real answer instead of a chat bot answer about something completely off topic from questions directed at you.

My primary point is that he never should have stood in front of the car - I would argue that is basic knowledge - and it is at least knowledge you should have if you work with potentially “dangerous” people - but with that logic every situation is dangerous - you can drown in a water pool smaller than your head - you can die if you stayed for a prolonged time in a bath tub I took a piss in beforehand
Under normal circumstances you would never be in danger facing a car going at 2 miles an hour - I would be more afraid of internal bleedings if my 3-year old niece hit me in stomach
Don't mention the frogs - we don't want to scare the toddler - we want him to sleep

and if the lady would have never put herself in the way... See, easy to play the IF game and shoulda woulda, right?
I would argue it's basic knowledge to not interfere with LE. 99.999999999% of know this to be true. Yet, here we are, discussing that .0000000001% that have the ME ME ME mentality.

After seeing vids of protesters/rioters attacking people in a church, & a Target store, it's apparent that brainwashing is effective on the weak-minded.

That is the point, a trained individual does NOT STAND in front of a moving vehicle. Am I am trained individual, are you? These clowns are allegedly trained and prepared for interacting with the public enough that they are carrying weapons and are PAID to do so. You are 100% making my point, these guys have no rights or skills to be out there, they shot someone because they did not follow training protocol and then they did the wrong reaction after being in the wrong position and an innocent member of this country died because of it. If they were following protocol this entire situation does not even materialize or at worst they follow proper training and do not do what they did, they diffuse the risk in numerous other avenues.
You either are not reading properly or you are blindly partisan enabling, I think I know which one you are doing.
