You have a guy who has served in the office of being a sheriff and has direct engagement with society in this fashion, his department has protocol and rules of engagement. He has taken training for proper handling of instances like this across the country and is responsible for training those he works with. His views are what is taught and what is protocol for people actually involved with this exact type of situation where these ICE weekend warriors are not. I saw an interview of an ICE supervisor who was asked if there is protocol about engaging with a moving vehicle and his response is that there is no training or protocol because that is not their responsibility and they are NOT to engage with a moving vehicle. So what EXACT training are you referencing here or are you just passing by because you cannot defend your agenda?

Minneapolis police chief blames ICE for harming the good reputation of local police.
Five white male software engineers were quiety having lunch in Minneapolis. Unknown to them someone posted on anti-ICE Signal Chat that they were undercover ICE agents.

The men tell the protesters they are just software engineers having lunch but the mob doesn't believe them. The mob starts blowing whistles and yells "GET THE FUCK OUT!!!"
Then one woman says; "Would you support us?" And one guy replies; "The way your acting? And I don't support ICE either."
The woman responds; "If your not with us then you're against us."
The mob ringleader then says; "They deserve it because they are White Privilege Males."
Uhh - yelling and strong words - how will they ever survive?

First of all, I never said it was right to shoot anyone, did I? No. I did not. I have not tried to justify the shooting. I am working backwards to see why everyone was put in the situation. If you want to go back further, we can pull up tons of evidence that would support aggression towards any LE. Do you remember RESIST? There's a start. Telling people to resist authority. Smart, right? Neither of us are LE so we do not know for certain how much pressure there is when LE are on duty. I would imagine tensions are at all time highs. Why do you think that is, assuming the statement is correct? Who has been giving the most push back towards LE? You can answer that by starting with the city leaders.
You like to divide people by parties. Nobody on the right is cheering this. I am only questioning HOW we got to this specific situation.
You do realize that the car could have easily compressed one of the officers tools against this body that could have caused internal damage, right? It doesn't take a large impact to cause bodily damage, especially his cuffs, flashlight etc was hit.

My primary point is that he never should have stood in front of the car - I would argue that is basic knowledge - and it is at least knowledge you should have if you work with potentially “dangerous” people - but with that logic every situation is dangerous - you can drown in a water pool smaller than your head - you can die if you stayed for a prolonged time in a bath tub I took a piss in beforehand
Under normal circumstances you would never be in danger facing a car going at 2 miles an hour - I would be more afraid of internal bleedings if my 3-year old niece hit me in stomach

That is the point, a trained individual does NOT STAND in front of a moving vehicle. Am I am trained individual, are you? These clowns are allegedly trained and prepared for interacting with the public enough that they are carrying weapons and are PAID to do so. You are 100% making my point, these guys have no rights or skills to be out there, they shot someone because they did not follow training protocol and then they did the wrong reaction after being in the wrong position and an innocent member of this country died because of it. If they were following protocol this entire situation does not even materialize or at worst they follow proper training and do not do what they did, they diffuse the risk in numerous other avenues.
