We actually have no choice but to defend Ukraine (over here) - Putin won’t stop at Ukraine (esp. Not now when Trump has shown he is too afraid to act) if Ukraine would fall - Putin would target a NATO state next - and EU wouldn’t have built its army yet and Trump wouldn’t send troops are you kidding - which would evaporate NATO as an alliance (so you guys will come out of winners of that - since you are the only country ever to have gotten help from NATO) - the free world we know stands and falls with the defence of Ukraine
The only two things that could make Russia agree to stop its war in Ukraine is if EU removes it sanctions and Ukraine agree to have Russia appoint its government - Russia isn’t doing this for land - it is already a country with way too much land - they are doing this for world dominance exactly how all world wars have started before - btw I hate Trump - but he isn’t even in top 5 over the worst people to have walked on this earth - EU alone has had 4 that was way worse - and Putin is also worse - if none else had nukes - Putin would already have nuked half of this earth - he doesn’t give two fucks how many people he would kill in the process

i am German ,German and US passport , and i have served in the German military (Paratroopers , 2/253 Nagold Fallschirmjaeger Bataillon ) , which became THE German KSK , Kommando Spezialkraefte , an Elite unit recognized as one of the best in the world
The German Army was around 600,000 soldiers at the time , 1988 / 1989 , we were in the woods every night when the GDR was about to fall

I haven’t said anything you can’t find online - we have made two countries default on our own within a few weeks didn’t take much effort except we pointed on them and said we don’t like you - Trump has now twice tried threatening us with tariffs - only to take it back just a few days after (I know TACO is a thing - but here it is 100% out of “fear” because his statements doesn’t get enough time to have any real influence)
We could hit China way harder than you can if we wanted - you could also see they didn’t even sweat for one second when the tariffs went insane - but they do everything they can to cover over their involvement in the Russian Ukrainian war (we would also hurt us self granted)
