Immigration Issue

 Your logic is so biased maybe we should not even have a discussion. The immigration system is not available for all, only for those who know how to use it and have the means and understanding of how to do so. This country has never put in place a working immigration system and for you to suggest it works means you do not have a proper perspective on why it does not. Millions of people over the history of this country came here from varying methods and means and millions of people were not caged and deported for a lack of timely understanding of how the system works and the tools to make it work for them. 

In your mind the people who came here crossing the border are the problem and the only instance of a system not functioning. If our borders are open and we do not have the resources to process immigrants then it is not working properly. So I asked this question before, who deserves to be deported, do you care to research the millions of people who came here and did not follow the process because it was not understood but STILL were able to live here and eventually obtain citizenship? So where is the line drawn for who deserves deportation? Should the lineage of those people here now like Trump like you and me who maybe our ancestors did NOT follow proper protocol but still stayed here and were given a fair opportunity to obtain their legal citizenship?

If ANYONE falls in to this category and we know they do then the system does NOT work properly, the fact we have an open border and a system that is not available to all and no due process in a timely fashion means it does not work.

Your third world view is cruddy fella, crime and poverty are not only from the poor or immigrants it is from HUMAN NATURE. Fix the problem and quit targeting a single group as the cause of all the woes you think exist.

Have you ever lived in poverty? If so you would never speak as you are here, it is quite lousy but I dont think you care so carry on.

Correct.  It is NOT for ALL. 

You can’t use logic to discuss with people that are racists - because racism is not logical - even though they will try use logic to justify it 

He will bend logic - to justify that he doesn’t want brown people there - rather than listening to your arguments and adapt to his logic — that is why you two sometimes can discuss for hours on end

The problem is that an awful lot of these far-Left issues simply use emotions and feelings and have no real facts or data to back up the positions.

You see this with the refusal to define a ‘woman’.  The Left does not want to hurt folk’s feelings.  So, they say anyone can be anything they like to be.

You see it with the Trans issue as well.  All of the data that is coming in shows that the attempt to change a person’s gender or sex has an overall longterm negative effect, not just on that person, but on society as a whole.  

Again, you can see the results that are coming back in some of the European countries.

This statement has a lot of truth to it:

This one is often cited and has merit as well:

“Liberals have feelings and emotion. Conservatives have: logic, history, perspective, science, reason, facts, math, principles, ethics, values, dialogue & common sense.”

Another far-Left issue is the one with illegals.

The far-Left plays on emotions and ‘sympathy’ to garner support for their ‘cause’.  There is rarely any data or facts that support their stance.  But when they present what they think is something along those lines to support it and it is picked apart they get very defensive and resort right back to emotions and feelings, instead of backing up their ‘data’.

So, at a time when the country is at an all-time high in debt, the direct and indirect costs and monies going to illegals does not matter to the far-Left.  They only know how they ‘feel’ about the issue.  Or, what is more likely, they are informed by the Media and Politicians how they ‘should feel’.

There is not a sense of what is good for the country overall and its citizens and legal immigrants.  

The logical conclusion that the country could be ‘overwhelmed’ by illegals from foreign lands with different culture, work ethic, values, and desires never is considered by the far-Left.  This is in spite of the fact that the evidence is already there to be seen not only in their own country but in the leading-indicator countries.

The Media, Politicians, and Schools have done such a poor job on educating folks on these various issues.  There is such a lack of critical thinking even when the facts and data are there to see that it is no wonder the youth are falling for all of these emotional ideas.
