In 2019 when McRae was arrested for a concealed weapon at 3 am in front of an abandoned building his lawers argued that the police officer had NO RIGHT to ask McRae if he had any weapons on him and the officer illegaly detained McRae by just stopping him and asking questions.

Rare for good guy with a gun to stop a bad gun with a gun.  In Texas state university study, civilians shot attackers in 24 out of 464 incidents from 2000 to 2021.  Far more likely for unarmed civilians to stop attackers.  Police stopped attackers in about 31% of all incidents.  As proven in other countries, best strategy is to prevent bad guys from getting guns in the first place.

A new report from the Crime Prevention Research Center (CPRC) argues that the FBI's data contains "massive errors" when tracking active shooting incidents, undercounting how often armed citizens have thwarted active shooting situations over the last eight years. Data released by the nonprofit shows that 34.4% of active shootings were thwarted by armed citizens between 2014 and 2021. However, FBI data show only 4.4% of active shootings were thwarted by armed citizens during that time period.

The problem is it is democrats who want less police and early releases, soft treatment of violent criminals. This combination leads to the Kyle Rittenhouses of our country. I don't want that, I don't want a wild wild west either yet America is painted into that corner on a daily basis by left ideology. Couldnt stop alcohol during prohibition, couldnt stop drugs with Biden approved tough drug laws on the 90's. What fairy tale is going to make the United States gun free? Violence needs to be met with expected equal punishment, period.

According to wikipedia, various organizations have criticized controversial John Lott the founder of "Crime prevention research center"  for flawed research full of errors and bias.  National academy of sciences, RAND, New England journal of medicine, American journal of public health and Journal of American medical association.

Switerland has a high rate of gun ownership and are much safer so lets adopt their strategies. 

#1 All young males must serve in the military.

#2 Identify ethnic groups with high rates of gun violence ( In Switerland that would those from Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Turkey, Sri Lanka, Algeria and Albania.) and ban them from owning firearms. Hmmm, wonder what ethnic group(s) are more prone to gun violence in the US????

 The stats I'm seeing don't have Switzerland with a higher rate of gun ownership then we do,we have 101 guns per 100 people,they have 24 per 100 people.The stats that I just read was that we had 4 times the death rate per 100,000 people then they do in Switzerland.And that's even with Switzerland banning all their supposed "bad ethnic groups".So the numbers are pretty much even,we have basically 4 times the amount of guns,and 4 times the amount of deaths.Which looks to me like if we had (and Switzerland had) 4 times less the amount of guns we have now,we'd also have 4 times less the amount of deaths we have now.So if I'm thinking about these numbers correctly (and maybe I'm not),it does say the more guns you have,coincides with the more deaths you'll have.So you're okay with banning guns,as long as your ethnicity (AKA you personally) aren't the one getting banned?Sounds like you're a real gun advocate,and 2nd amendment rights kinda guy.Not really,it's just about whether you get to do it or not.

But here's this countries problem with your solution of banning the specific ethnic group in this country that you're talking about.It does nothing about the school shootings.Because those shootings are done by mine (and I believe your) ethnic group.What do you do about those senseless shootings done by our ethnic group,just deal with them cause their done by our ethnic group?Just keep letting 20 or so kids get gunned down in their schools while their trying to learn?Or just let people like the guy in Vegas amass a huge arsenal and kill as many people as he can while those people are trying to enjoy a music festival?You're okay with all those shootings,just cause their done by people like you and me?
