I don’t personally think Europe would be interested in taking on their protection (we kind of have our plates full) - which would be the only main actor interested in status quo - so the most obvious candidate would be China and they have already tried to push for RMB being the replacement of the petrol dollar - This will reshape the world we know it - when you guys have to live like us normal mortals - that can’t just print and sell money to the rest of the world when you feel like it

Dotard Donny Dementia taught Iran they can charge tolls with no consequence (it’s part of Donny Dotard’s deal) and then if things go south, they can just close the strait at will to punish the world.
