I don't watch the news Midnight. Honestly, while growing up I didn't either and it wasn't until a handful of years ago did I realize the media is one sided and likely bought and paid for. So I don't consider it "news" as much as I consider it propaganda and persuasiveness. I don't think journalism is what it used to be and now it's about being first, regardless if it's right or wrong. It's about the clicks rather then the content and quality. When the media is wrong, they're onto something else, they never revert back to admit wrong. I had always thought the media was not biased. That's why I will not watch the news. Every time I turn it on, it's depressing. News seems to be 90% negative and I'd rather not see that. They also have investigative teams that expose tow truck companies or tell us about the # of weapons making in thorough TSA at Ft. Lauderdale & Miami airports. I agree much is negative reporting but for me David Muir's Made in America segments tell us about regular Americans who invented products for other regular Americans. Like the dude who made a wheelchair for his German Shepard that lost a leg in an accident or the 75 year old carpenter that started making the American flags out of leftover wood. Those stories leave me with a positive feeling that not everyone around is a fuckup or evil.

Seriously, some folks have died or had serious problems with the vaccine. Very small percentage but it has and is happening. Blatant efforts by our media and government health organizations to dismiss these isolated events have made things worse. Lack of trust defeats everything!
Trump is right to promote the vaccine, he pushed hard for it and made it happen when everyone said no way it could happen in that time frame. It DOES reduce serious illness for many. The data is out there across the world. For some it's not needed and for others it doesn't help.
But for many it is unessacary as they are healthy individuals. My entire family has had covid and all unvaccinated at the time, not one required any treatment.
The reasoning that vaccination would stop the spread ended in early July with data from Delta, yet the narrative never changed. With overwhelming evidence that breakthroughs occur often the College Football world said only the unvaxed get tested. Only if a vaxed player complained they were sick were they tested.
Not one lo-cal with a mask mandate requires a "proper mask" like a Chinese KN95 or N95. Only recently do you see the media address this issue. People won't wear them as it is hard to breath. I see mesh rhinestone masks everywhere, they are useless face decorations.
One would think by now the world leaders would recognize that vaccinations, masks, and social distancing of 6ft will not end this virus. It will mutate around anything we throw at it. We have to live with it, learn to treat the sick and deal with it.

If it is related at all, in his case it would be more the vaccine itself than the Flu. Simply because of his age and health.
For example, the Pentagon reported a spike in myocardial issues after the vaccine mandate. Whereas, younger folks did not exhibit these issues with the Flu itself.
Odds are it is not related to either — but if it is one or the other, odds are it would be the vaccine.
