The Arkansas Governor is far from begging everyone to take the vaccine. As a matter of fact, he help a press conference today saying that he is NOT going to apply a mask mandate as many thought he had changed his mind. I  recently moved to Arkansas from South Louisiana and think he is a very good governor especially compared to the clown we have in Louisiana. He is trying to be fair and putting the responsibility on individuals instead of on the gov't. As a matter of fact we found out on my offshore rig today that Monday our company is supposed to be sending out a letter stating we have to get vaccinated or we won't be allowed offshore anymore. So after 23 years in the offshore industry, it looks like my time will be coming to an end. I built a vacation cabin last year in the Ouachita mountains and my wife and I decided to sell my house and move there permanently this past October. Now it looks like I'll just find a local job and I'm fine with that decision. Already paid off every bill I have except a fairly small mortgage on my vacation cabin (now my home). I can't wait to see just how many others like me tell them where they can shove it.............Rigs will be shutting down left and right or having major problems losing so many experienced workers. Truly a sad situation all around........................

And no, I am not concerned at all about catching Covid a second time and getting sick..........natural immunity is where it's at........look at Sweden- they never implemented mask mandates or locked anything down- and their Covid problem is very small and remains so.

 Sweden didnt do as well as many people think . Back in March-Mid MAY 2021 they were averaging 3800-6300 new cases per day . As of August 6th they had 835 new daily cases despite 63.6% of the population receiving at least  one vaccine dose ..Last October Sweden’s per capita death rate was 58.4 per 100,000 people,  12th highest in the world...

The oilfield industry has been in decline for the last 6-7 years big time. Companies no longer care about experience or qualifications.....just the bottom dollar. It's always been that way but they use to at least share in the profits. This mandate will hurt the industry even further and lawsuits will be flying. I really expected the mandate once(if ever) the vaccines get FDA approval. It's treated me well but it's time to move on. I will have an inner peace and be much more happy waking up and going home every day to my lovely wife and my home on top of the Ouachita Mountains. Many companies will be in for a rude awakening as I'm certainly not going to be the only employee once the others follow suit and make vaccinations mandatory!

People are in the hospital not because of COVID, but because of the effects from the vaccines.
