You're not actually laying more than a FG with Kirk Cousins as your QB, right?

Dude, it's a short week.  They have 2 more days to get healthy instead of 5.  A bunch of those players will probably not play.

Again, they have a short week.  Having 1/3 of your roster on the injury report is not normal, and is very alarming, especially playing on a Thursday.

Eli turns the ball over just as much as Cousins..both of these teams are inconsistent at best and with Washington being at home they should be the favorite. This game is literally a coin flip..

You better hope that coin flips in favor of the Giants or you're going to lose money on Thursday night.

Why are you comparing last year to this year?  What does that have to do with this year?  Yeah the Eagles shredded the Skins which a fully healthy oline vs a banged up Washington front 7...with Vick playing in the opener as well.  It literally had nothing to do with what was going on Sunday.  This revisionist theory is a good way to lose money.

False.  It's a way to understand why the Eagles struggled to run the ball on Sunday.  You are giving all the reasons why the Eagles struggled to run the ball, yet you think this Redskins team has such a great front 7 to stop the run.  Giants are going to run all over this banged up Redskins D, and then when the Redskins try to put more players in the box, Eli will shred the Redskins questionable and banged up secondary.

I'm done for now.  If you guys want to keep listing reasons why Cousins is awesome and that 1/3 of the roster being on the injury list means nothing then go ahead.  I'll be back later to respond.

No it's not lol!!!  You think a team is going to gameplan a team with VIck, McCoy, Jackson the same as Foles, McCoy, and Maclin?  The Skins played their safeties like 20 yards deep last year because they were scared to death of Jackson beating them deep.

Sunday they had more guys near the line of scrimmage and crashed down hard from the ends on the inside zone.  Literally nothing about those 2 games are alike.

You want to give money to the books, bet Cousins giving more than a FG against the Giants.

I hate both of these teams with a passion being an Eagles fan, but let's be real here.  Redskins are not a good football team and Cousins is not a good QB to be laying 3.5 to the Giants.

I still need to see more from Cousins and WAS in general, still not sure if he's an avg QB or better. I 100% agree with this play right here and locked it in last night as soon as I saw it on bookmaker. 3.5 is too much for a WAS team that hasn't shown an ability to shut down anyone (Not including JAX). Divisional game, short week, NYG one of the most despised teams in the league. It's a great spot. gl this Thursday.

Speaking from a situational perspective, the pick is Giants+3.5, purely on the fact that Redskins left a lot on the field vs. Eagles.  Cousins is decent, I'm more concerned about injuries for the Redskins and the short week against the Eagles, tempo that game was played was insane.  My expectation is that Redskins come out flat...Giants just seem to be clicking now.  21-13 type of game imo..Giants win straight up.

You really think the Giants are holding the anyone to 13 points?  Flat or not that's not happening not with that defense.  They would really have to grind the tempo down for that to happen.  Skins are really good against the run and pretty damn bad vs the pass.  Both teams will be throwing the ball.

Cousins is not bad, he s better fit to Gruden s west coast style offense. He makes quick decision. Even against bad defense it s still impressive that they scored 75 points in 2 games.
Against eagles they called pass 51 times and run 25 times but no sacks.
Maybe defensive coordinator hasn t caught up with him yet.
He went 12 of 13 and scored 14 right off the bat. Then 18 of 35 pass. Tells me if it s scripted , he s right on.
Maybe Washington 1st q or 1st half .  Who knows who wins the game.
    Good Luck

Absolutely believe Giants can hold a team to 13 points, especially a team that is forced to throw playing from behind.  Giants will lead this game throughout...said the same thing last week when it was TB vs Falcons.

He is certainly an upgrade over RG3 - it almost sounds like you have a personal vendetta against him because you're holding onto some old memories of RG3? Not trying to flame, but I really can't understand your position here.

Also, nowhere did I say that I was betting the Skins this week.

Forget about Cousins he's not the issue

This  Washington team is 2-13 SU last 15

why would you lay more than a field goal with a team that don't win games no mater who the QB is

The Giants won SU twice last year vs Redskins

You are aware that the Giants are 30th against the pass in ypa right?  And that was facing Stanton and Fitzpatrick in 2 of their games.  Could the Skins lose this game?  Yeah.  Neither team is exactly a world beater, but I will not buy the Redskins not being able to post points on the Giants.  Redskins match up too well with the Giants to even remotely consider the Giants a solid play.

Im not worried about cousins, im worried about the short week after playing an exhausting game vs. an exhausting tempo against the eagles.  There's absolutely no way i can back either side in this one, road teams on thursday nights have been  , but it seems at least that the skins are more banged up and had a much tougher game against the eagles sunday. Either way i don't think we can expect to get washingtons best thursday,  so its a no play for me.

when you have only played 3 games and were blow out in Detriot stating the Giants are 30th against the pass don't  really mean much  come back with these stats after week 8 or 9 they have much more meaning

SHANGO - old school wwf fan I see, awesome. And don't listen to these guys. I will say you are spot on the right side in this game. This is simply about perception. Giants is the play. Got it at 4.

As for the cousins vs rg3.....if rg3 is to stay in the pocket then I think they are at least even, and cousins is probably your better option. But with the zone read, how rg3 started his rookie season, rg3 is much better. I think washington is basically handcuffing rg3 by making him a pocket qb and the fact that he keeps taking unnecessary hits will shorten his career too.

Good luck this week guys, go Giants

I agree that giants is the right side if you must bet this game, but it has nothing to do with cousins and everything to do with they just played a 4 hour game vs. the eagles on sunday whereas the giants are healthier and had a cakewalk vs. a team that no showed in a back to back coast to coast roadie.
